Actually, I don't know if they would be the same. First off there are two different versions, one double the power. I really don't know why they would offer two versions other than some issue where with the large one the radio fails to fit into a dock. I'm actually thinking of the Executive dock here. The fit with the executive dock is very tight with the S50, so tight, no leather case would fit while docked. Perhaps the "Slender" model has to be used in this dock.

Additionally, I really don't see the need for the purchase of another battery. We will have two. One can be charging while the other is in use. I think they got pressure from those Stern fans to insure that the battery life was 6 hours. That's the length of the show.

Why would anyone buy another slim battery. If any were to be purchased, I would only think people would purchase another large one.

Hopefully we will see in the coming weeks.
