Default "All senior citizens should have Life Alert."

Hmmm, so Life Alert is advertising on Howard 100.

There's no punchline, it just doesn't seem like a great fit. It leads me to wonder if Howard's channels are lacking appropriate advertisers.

Testicle Radio lives on advertising dollars. Sat does not. Sat lives on subscribers. Do you have parents? Are they old? Do you have grand parents? Are they old? Have they ever fallen and could not get up? Are you tired of these old folks calling you because they are having chest pains? If so than Life Alert is for you and the old bats that bother you.

It is a valid point. I always wonder why Life Alert has choosen to advertise on Howard Stern show rather than say, during Wheel of Fortune or Price is Right. I don't imagine the vast market of senior citizens that would buy the product would be listening to Howard. I guess some listeners may want to buy it for their parents/grandparents, but I don't think the people at Life Alert made wise use of their advertising dollars. If I were the HS Show, I wouldn't care who wanted to advertise as long as they have a nice big check to hand over.

Now, the phone sex ad is probably in the right place. That ad is so cheesy..but I'm sure some Joey Boot-esqe fans out there have their credit card ready for some "hot naked girls that are hot and wet and waiting to talk to you!!!"

It's possible that Life-Alert bought a cluster of spots for all of Sirius, not just Howard's show. Also, that phone-sex commercial is played ad nauseum every break during the late night replays. I find that chick's voice is more annoying than sexy, although Joey Boots probably has his credit card in one hand and his pecker in the other right now. Check his web-cam.

They play the same shitty commercials on his old FM stations. It's all mortgage and penis englarging scams.

Or could it be that they figure the listners of the show might have elderly parents or grandparents who might benefit from the device. Folks won't have to worry as much about their loved ones if they thought they were safe..just a thought!

Bingo. Many people who need lifealert won't accept that they need it. If their son or daughter sets it up for them they are more likely to accept it.

Cool

that life alert can be a pain in the ass. i work in a retirement community and a few of the residents have it. they never hit it for anything important at all. i find myslef going up to their condos to find that their fuckin toilet has backed up or some shit like that. i mean its a good idea but all the people who get them dont know the proper way to use them.
