Default Sportster Replay FM transmitter NOT Working

I have had a Sportster replay for over a year. The LCD display went out on it around Oct., then radio stopped working completely around Thanksgiving.

I just got my warranteed replacement radio today in the mail...1 PROBLEM
This new unit and the extra sportster replay I ordered with it now do not transmit to any other radio anywhere in my house.

I have the boom box that goes with it and could turn on the Sportster and tune any radio on my property and recieve Sirius very easily (my pre-broken radio).

Now neither of the 2 new radio's transmit anything. Everthing is set properly, and it worked with the other radio for over a year, now nothing on both.

Help?

Radios purchased in the past 3-4 months have had their FM modulators neutered to meet the FCC Part 15 regulations. The old radios were way out of that spec. Search around this forum. You'll see hundreds, maybe into the thousands, of posts about this.

There are some solutions. The one used by most seems to be using the FM direct adapter which switched the input to your car radio from the car antenna or the Sirius modulator.

Default Car radio is fine, home radio bad

Hey Homey,

My car radio is fine, I have that hardwired, its the home radio that won't work on my property on other radios.
Anything to help with that?

Same issue. Pretty much all Sirius radios purchased in the last 3-4 months have neutered FM modulators (transmitters). They are now extremely low-powered and don't broadcast very far at all.
