Harris has rocked radio listeners from NYC to Southern California to Miami over his (gasp) 30 years in the biz; how cool is it that he now reaches all those markets simultaneously, through the magic of SIRIUS? He worships at the altars of Dylan and the Beatles; Fogerty, Townshend, Garcia, Springsteen and Hendrix are superheroes to him. Harris is an expert on the subtleties of the great pizza slice; debate him at your own peril. He roots hard for his New York Mets.

Harris Allen remembers the precise moment when he decided that he wanted to be a DJ: "It was when I realized I could make a living without getting my hands dirty!" A dedicated rock fan, he cites one of his most memorable concert experiences as the 3 day US Festival in 1982, which included sets by Talking Heads, The Police, and The Grateful Dead ("They played at 10 am on Sunday morning!"). He's a proud dad, and his daughter is a music fan: "I enjoyed taking my daughter to concerts… before she started finding dates closer to her own age."
