Default Switching from H2A to PNP2 - FM Modulator good to go?

I've got a H2A in my Tahoe, and love it, but like most others, the display is fading fast. I like the looks of the PNP2, or perhaps the Streamer.

That said, for the new install, can I use the hard-wired Kenwood FM modulator & antenna with the new system? This would involve only purchasing the cradle and the unit, AFAIK.

Anyone have related experiences?

Thanks...

Yes, you should be good to go. I use my PNP2 with the original H2A antenna, power cable, and cassette adapter.

OK, I did a bit of research, and have even more questions...

Caveat, I'm a listener, not an installer.

The guy at the install place is saying that PNP2s use wireless modulators, unlike what I've got with my H2A. If that's the case, will there be a noticable difference in sound quality from hard-wired to wireless?

Thanks again...

All the Plug and Play car cradles have an audio output jack, reguardless if they have a wireless FM Transmitter built in. So you just plug in the modulator to the audio output of the PNP2 (or streamer, JVC or Clarion) cradle and you are good to go!
