Default Sound Quality Question

Hey guys...have yall noticed that compared to regular radio or CDs that the sound is like duller/lower in quality? I was wondering if theres anyway to get it thumpin like everything else in the car and if there are any solutions or hints to make it as good as possible. I have a radio deck Pioneer that is Sirius compatible btw.
Thanks

I just installed mine today and I would say it sounds more like a CD then FM radio.

I would suggest some good aftermarket speakers and play with the sound settings on your tuner.

How's your radio connected? If it is not direct connect, then you are not getting the best signal. I find that, at least for my car, moving the bass up one notch and the treble down one from normal seems to make it seem cleaner.
