Default Soloist Sleep and Music Timers

Well, after a lot of testing and playing with the timers last night, I have to admit, things went off without a hitch last night and this morning.

The sleep timer is easy to set, you push the sleep button and it toggles through 90 80 70... all the way down to 10 minutes. Just stop where you want the timer set.

Setting the Alarm or Music timers is a little more complex.

You basically need to set the Soloist Music Timer to turn on before your scheduled timer event on the Stiletto. You set the Soloist off after your scheduled timer event is off. You also set the source to Stiletto and volume level.

The Soloist Music timer is not that forgiving. If you wait too long between setting the on or off times, it goes back and you have to start over.

Think of it as a VCR, you set the start and stop times and the device you want listen to. Now don't forget to set your stiletto to record. The Soloist has nothing to do with the recording of the shows, only providing power and routing the audio to the speakers at the appropiate time.

I'm sure after a few times it will get easier. But I must say its not too easy and it took a few reads of the manual to understand how it works. That being said, I was successful.

Before going to bed, I had the sleep timer set for 20 minutes, I had the radio wake up at 5:55am The Stiletto begin recording at 6am.

Currently I see my little heart beating recording Master Tape Theatre. The radio is set to go off at 12pm hopefully after the 6 hour event.

Probably I'll yank out the stiletto before it finishes recording but I'll keep you posted.

Default First 6 Hour Recording

Ok I came home for lunch to check it. It recorded 6 hours. Actually 6 hrs 2 min and 36 seconds. I took a picture while it is replaying the block recording.

Anyone know why the timer would be off by 2 min and 36 seconds?
