Default I used to hate bubba, but now....

I really like his show. I had quit on bubba in febuary after the initial launch, but I have been listening to a lot over the last month or so, and they really cut out a lot of the hill billy sh*t that I didn't like. and they are funny. plus bubba seems to never take days off, so I can listen to it whenever howard's off. but over all, they have been doing really good shows since I have started listening again.

Yeah Bubba has improved a lot recently. the only thing that bothers me is his incessant need to stutter and repeat everything 3-4 times before he finally spits it all out.

I really enjoy it as well. I listen everyday. They are a great cast of characters and they put on a great show!

I really think bubba changed the show a little bit to appeal to some of us above the mason dixon line. and I like that!

I agree with all of you. I think he eliminated a lot of the redneck stuff. I love his show. I think he's hilarious and I enjoy the show more everytime I listen to it.

The only problem is that "magilicutty" and "jones" have worked there way into my vocabulary.

I listen to Bubba a lot now, especially with all the time Howard isn't on. Thank goodness for him on Fridays, too bad we have to wait until the afternoon for him, though. Give Bubba the morning slot once in a while!

Yea..if you remember about a month back he had a lawsuit from one of the "ho's" that was on the show. I'm not sure if it came from corperate or what but the show stopped doin all the shockin, cheap gross out stuff.....imo bubba is a much better radio guy than o&a....who are kings of bad radio bits. Since the show "changed" I have become a bigger fan! My only concern is that bubba will listen to that small minority at sfn and go back to the gross out bits. He is very talented as is his crew and can keep us listening for 4 hours without sinking to the lowest form of radio.

Bubba rocks!

I agree that his show has really improved recently. It got me thinking though:

With Orbitcast sending out rumors about Bubba and Cox... What if Bubba does an O&A deal with Cox. He then goes on to gain a ton of fans on FM (assuming many of his fans lost interest during his years off). 5 years from now, Howard retires, Bubba takes over the morning slot and becomes exclusive to Sirius. This can be the second wave of people coming over to Sirius. I know that there are so many arguments against it (Howard wouldn't allow it, Bubba is too raunchy, etc...), but doesn't it kind of make sense from a business point of view?

Bubba has almost been kicked off Sirius several times for being too dirty- I don't see him making it very long on terrestrial.

I listen but anymore it just seems like an ad for bubbaraw, merchandise, and UFC(everyday an hourlong talk w/ a ufc guy or about it. I'm payin' for the show not for an ad to pay for other "shit"
