Default Bubba's article in today's St. Pete Times

http://www.sptimes.com/2007/01/10/Fe...for_the_.shtml

I gotta take a sh*t on this deal. The writer isn't very complimentary to Bubba or Sirius. I assumed that the point of the article was to let people know about the one-year anniversary and Bubba's impending nuptials, but it doesn't do a good job of either one. I like the picture though. Heather looks good.

Interesting how they quote TERRESTRIAL radio consultants on how Satellite radio is losing.

I used to work in radio and met Fred Jacobs and attended his seminars and he is a complete loser. His seminar was completly worthess. We were urged to invite clients to it because he is supposed to be so good. Most of my clients walked out halfway through. It was miserable.

And implying he's heading back to terrestrial radio. Oh, and they misspelled Artie's name. Other than that, not a bad article.

I shot the guy an email and corrected the spelling of Artie's name. I also congradulated him on only citing terrestrial radio guys. I hope he emails me back, I love fucking with these kinda guys.

He must've got a lot of feedback, he seems to be backpedaling a bit in his blog here:

Sounds like Howard 100 news got a hold of him too...

Not trying to be a dick, but if you are correcting his spelling, you probably should have "congratulated" him

From his blog: "Some fans are complaining about the criticism of satellite radio included in the story. But I think it's fairly obvious that the medium's current business structure requires the companies to spend too much money to get content and subscribers."

As opposed to terrestrial radio where their content comes from record companies giving payola to program managers and DJs to play sh*tty music? Or diluting the programming with 20-30 minutes of inane commercials before you hear next 10-in-row music block? Jeez, I sure do feel stupid paying money to get a product and a service that delivers exactly what they promise.

Thanks... Here's Janie Cake's (Bubba's mom's) meatloaf, cheese potato, and cream pie recipies. http://fantalkback2talkhosts.myfreef...a5202.php#5202
Is it salacious to bill it as "Janie Cake's meat, cheese, and cream?"

Now that Heather's maiden name is mentioned, time to resume the search for her gift registry at Macy's or Williams-Sonoma -- maybe later...

Anybody break the code at their wedding site yet?

What does clicking the round reputation button do, exactly?
