IMHO I don't think it does. But does it really need to? You can just record a song into it if you like it.

Actually since you can listen to it live in your car or at home. YES I do think it should have the s-seek artist and song feature. There are songs or artist that I may not necessarily want to have recorded, but would like to be alerted when they are playing. But I think you are right it doesn't come with the s-seek feature, unless its just not listed under features set they are showing.

Sirius S50 picks up Sirius, the XM2GO, Roady and Samsung tuners only pick up XM. There is no tuner rather portable or PNP that picks up both. I seen you asked that question in another thread. So the answer is NO.

Does the S50 have song and artist seek? I have asked that question during a chat one night because I don't see it listed, unless I've just not looked in the right place. I was told with the push of a button , you could save a whole song to the built in memory, but no actual artist or song seek. I dont know???
Now that I think about it, you're probably right. I may have been thinking about the new Starmate.

But the S50 DEFINITELY has the color screen and voice-assisted navigation, which I did NOT see in the description of the NeXus.

So I will stand by my statement that the S50 has more features.

Good point.

A lot of people complain about Sirius receivers costing a little more, but they typically have more useful features than the XM units.

So you get what you pay for.

I'm betting that when Sirius's hardware partners release some "live" portables, they'll be a cut above the XM2go units.

My XM Pioneer Airware and Audiovox XR9 has backlights on the buttons too. I am not sure what Jeremy is referring too, perhaps he will clarify what he means.

I should elaborate. I want buttons which I can read what they do at night. On my SIRIUS Radios I can read "MEMO", "BAND", "MENU", "DISP" on my buttons, you can't do that on any of the xm radios, I'm always fumbling aroudn for the "MEMO" or "MENU" button on my XM Radios.

I gotcha... Yes the Pioneer Airware does have the description of what the button does lit up as does the Audiovox XR9. But you are correct that that XM does have tuners that don't.
