Now this is pretty sweet! Although an Apple deal would be bigger, and I think this raises the chances of an Apple deal since they may want to answer back. Dell has centered their marketing on why you should get the DJ other than an iPod and I don't think Apple wants them to be able to use this against them.

again..... what would be in it for apple??????

why this "obsession" with sirius having to team up with apple. Sirius would be much better off IMO teaming up with an apple competitor.

Can anyone give a logical explination how it would benefit apple to team up with sirius.

Assuming that all of the major music services will eventually partner with XM or Sirius, partnering with the leader (Apple) would be an advantage. If Sirius partnered with one of the others, it would just make it more likely that Apple would go with XM. Partnering with the market leader is worth a premium price.

Money (cash payments) and brand association. Sirius is arguably the better recognized brand between the two sat radio companies given the press coverage of the past year. Apple is also likely to select a company that fits closer to their creative senses, and Sirius seems to have much more personality in their programming approach than does their competitor.
