Much more likely that Sirius threw a bunch of money at Nascar and that Playboy was dropped due to lack of interest

NASCAR is moving to Sirius because Sirius is willing to pay them...what is it?...$21 Million a year?...and XM is not.

I wouldn't call that "jumping ship" or "wanting to go with the better company".

Money is the reason channels pick one service over the other. It was that way for NASCAR and I'm sure it was money that caused Air America to leave Sirius as well.

Money might be the reason Air America leaves all radio, if they dont starting getting some audience.

Well much of this has talked about the possability of Playboy coming to Sirius. I've been keeping an eye on it over at the yahoo PBR board and most everyone on there is assuming they are giong tro sirius based on other hints. This latest posting makes me believe it more:

Send IM

I'm trying to work out something like that for our fans.
Log in a specific code word that identifies you and get X dollars off
the price.

I'm trying.

They did this type of deal for the Radio Chick fans as well, where they entered a promo code in at the sirius.com website and got cheaper radios. I think this is a real possability and it would be on one of the Stern channels, we'll have to see what comes next.
