Sigh...record collections used to be so cool.
Worse than that, an entire generation of kids will use samplers and computers to make music without ever learning to play an instrument or learn to read music.

I've been on the fence about buying either a Zune or an iPod, just because I want one. I'd rather get the Zune because I don't like iTunes, but, I don't have a real use for one. I have 52GB of music, 791:41:23 hours worth at varing bit rates.

I'll probably end up buying an 80GB iPod after I get a new job unless more accessories come out for the Zune. I want vehicle intergration or an FM Modulator.

I checked out the Zune yesterday at BB. I was really pleased with the user interface, very simple. The video looks fantastic on it. If I was in the market for a setup now, I'd certainly give some strong consideration to the Zune.

I do agree that I really enjoy all the extra acessories for the iPod. I have mine intergrated in with my JVC AVX2 head unit. I had bought a iPod HiFi, but brought it back. Glad I did because I have enjoyed using my dual purpose Soloist, which allows me to use it for my Stiletto or iPod.

Check out Leo Laporte's review of the Zune on YouTube.

I've got all of my purchased music loaded onto the system I use as a home automation system server. I can listen to any of the 1800 or so songs on demand, but I usually choose to listen to the Sirius programming, simply because I can choose the type of music, and they will provide the content and variety. Either source can be heard thoughout my home if I wish.

This is also why I use my portable Sirius radio, and gave the iPods I had away as gifts.
