Totally O.T - but with BBC Radio one cause you get any of their Dance programming? Like Fergie, Eddie Halliwell, Tong, etc?? Just curious....... How Radio 1 would operate on Sirius...

Radio 1 on Sirius is the English Radio 1 (on Thursday nights, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland transmitters broadcast local music shows instead of Zane Lowe), timeshifted by 5 hours (so that, except for differences in when the UK and US go on daylight savings, time references match up for the Eastern timezone).

It is a full feed... afaik, everything that goes out over Radio 1 in England goes out 5 hours later on Sirius. I suppose that if Radio 1 was carrying a concert that XM had US satellite rights to, Sirius would have to work out alternative programming, but that's the only case where I would see Sirius cutting out of Radio 1.
