Cool Howard back on boring normal radio???

i just read a rumor orbitcast.com posted that there may be some mega deal in the works to put howard back on normal radio. i know this shit came up a few months ago and howard put it to rest but it just pisses me off. i really hope there is no truth to this. like howard has said, it would be crazy to go back. i just think that if this were to go down it would be like almost a betrayal. i mean as gay as this sounds i just feel like comming to sirius with the rest of ya was like we were joining a club, and if howard were to go back to normal radio it would ruin that. also im not sure but i think that o and a doing this has not really helped xm at all, i just dont see how mel and howard could think putting him back on shitty normal rado would help sirius. i think this is just a rumor that will never get any legs, hopefully im right.

I don't care if he stays on Sirius or he goes back to regular ready. If he goes back I cancel Sirius. Simple as that. If he doesn't then I keep it.

no, there is no wat in hell Howard would ever even entertain the idea of returning to regulkar radio. He knows that it would be the ultimate insult to the fans that followed him to Sirius and that he would be jepordizing the loyalty of his core audience.

If he did return to the regular air waves, I still wouldn't cancel my Sirius though. I came for Howard; I'll stay for the great programming.

Stern or no Stern, nothing would ever warrant going back to regular radio.

Well, Howard talked about it this morning. Basically said its ridiculous. Some of the news reports he played basically said Howard will be coming back. He said that XM has hired someone to do spin...and as weird as that sounds, this story could completely be coming from that.

It's shows the power of Sirius when XM and the NBA, National Broadcasters Assoc., have to hire publicists to float negative press toward a competitor that is eating their lunch.

Thats exactly where it comes from, XM is now desperately trying to pump up "Oprah" for the holiday sales season and justify their $50 million dollar expenditure. (boondogle) They are willing to put rumors (lies) out there to discredit Stern and try convince potential buyers to choose XM. I think this will backfire in the long run, and finally put Sirius over the top.

Just further proof that at least 80% of reported news is utter and complete bullshit.

I guess he is not so "irrelevant" if they make such a big deal over an unconfirmed rumor.
