You mean you missed the part about the hydrogen-fueled nuclear reactor that allows the ship to reach tacheaon speed once the vibrations hit quark level and the magnetic field encompasses the ship so that it may slip into the time/space continuum... and things of this nature?

I love listening to Riley... his physics are so 1970's. The dude memorized the Cosmos series and had been reiterating it for 30 years... and things of this nature.

In Riley's defense though- I actually pulled out a pen/paper and calculator one night (maybe his second show on Sirius) and started double checking some of his math. The guy was 100% dead on on his mathmatical bullshit (as far as doing conversions from light speed to mph to kilometers, etc.). His physics however are 30 years old. The hydrogen-propulsion system he was talking about last night was proposed in 1976.

Is that the one based on a superconducting electro-magnetic torus that creates a magnetic field so strong it bends space/time in order to not violate the laws of physics, causing a "warp" to a predetermined point in the universe? Saw that in a 70's issue of Omni. Have not seen it since, although it obviously exists, because Riley has seen it (seen the issue of Omni, that is, not the ship. You all obviously know I think Riley is full of shit, and things of that nature).

I guess, but what if he starts quoting from the Millenium Falcon's Blue Book value?

Just buy his audio book. Its only the price of two symbols. Honestly I used to listen to Art Bell and George Noory about 4 years ago when I was just 18. Makes me feel like a retard when I hear how bad they rip on Riley. A lot of the stuff on Coast to Cost I used to believe. I guess I missed Riley though when he was on.

I'd love to get a copy of both the shows over the 48-hr preview. Please PM me if you have them recorded. Thanks!
