Loser, first off get a job. You are bored. He hasn't hired anyone? So he had a news team at Krock? Jacky, Riley, uncensored roasts, bubba, Farrell, Old tape shows, ask a porn star, round table all in the first 6months of a 60month contract.

The question is, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE IN 6MONTHS???

Who should he be doing that you feel is missing? Hire who? Just any hack?

Why am I trying to educate someone who clearly needs to get a clue before posting nonsense.

He must have meant the station will be a safe haven for jocks to work for no money, as it seems to be "tied up" due to some deal that occured early this year.

That huge expense, coupled with the declining stock prices do not leave much to offer new talent. A good, if not great hire would be Danny Bonaduce, but without a reasonable salary.....who knows.

Bubba was hired after not working for years, and Howard admitted that Ferrall was bankrupt when he came aboard, so they were both were probably acquired cheaply. Good for Sirius. The other shows just plain suck. Putting no-talented fans on to fill air space just kills the station and cheapens the overall product. Bad for Sirius. Bad for subscribers. Just plain bad.

Hire any hack? Which hack are you referring to? The wrap-up show, Asskiss roundtable, The Friday Abortion, Mastertape Theater, etc?

I can't answer what rustytrombone has done in the last six months, but I would bet on Fridays, he works Just a guess.

This thread is comprised mainly of posts complaining about how bad the show is. That would suggest that some people are listening. I would suggest those people simply stop listening rather than insist on the shows cancellation. If know one listens, the show won't last too long.

I personally have never listened to the SFRT show. It doesn't interest me. I would prefer to listen to a replay of the Stern show.

How does one measure who is and who is not listening? Phone records? What?

I like the show and I think Mutt does a reasonably good job as the host. However, I don't think he should be the one that books the panel. He has too many SFNers on, and Joey Boots is there most every week.

I do have a job. That involves me being in a service vehicle for most of my day. Needleess to say I get to listen to a lot of what he puts on the channels. He hasn't hired anyone WORTH putting on the radio.

The news team was ok when he wasn't on but it just gets monotonous after a while. They aren't entertaining in the least which is why they've been bumped and don't have the 12 and 6 shows anymore.

Jackie was ok in the old days. He left and Artie filled his position. I really wasn't a Jackie fan in the first place. His show isn't great, in fact it sucks.

Riley is good but who stays up till midnight to listen to their radio?

The roasts are ok but it seems to be the same people all the time basically telling the same jokes. How many times do you want to hear a joke before you're not entertained anymore?

I mentioned Bubba in my post prior but you probably couldn't read it due to your poor edumacation.

Farrell was a poor choice to put on. Danny Bonaduce was far more entertaining then Farrell and his voice is annoying after a while.

Old tape shows, oh goodie another "Best of" session. I got sick of listening to the old shows when he was at k-rock

Ask a porn star? Do you mean inside the porn actors studio? What can be asked there that hasnt already been discussed on his show?

Round table sucks, thats what this thread is about or have you not been paying attention or is it that poor edumacation again?

You may be happy but when promises are made before he leaves. With only 5 years on his contract and chances he wont re-sign is this what you want to live with?

How wont it last long if the retards on SFN are crowing about how good the show is? Howard takes what they say on that site as the word of all his fans.

It was just a suggestion. I don't know how, or if they can monitor the number of people listening. My main point was, if you don't like it, DON'T LISTEN.

For example, I don't like the Bubba show... I don't write posts stating the show should be taken off the air, I just don't listen to the show.

Likewise, I've never listened to the SFRT. It doesn't interest me, so I don't listen.

From what I read BUBBA and FARELL are both making more money at Sirius than on Terr radio.

I respect your opinion but I disagree with your analysis. This is a message board where people give uncensored comments about the show. It's been a little more negative lately but I've noticed these things go in phases and there are still plenty of positive or just neutral posts too.

What you're saying is no different than saying "If you don't like this message board, don't read it!"

I agree and have said as much about the "just cancel" mentality on several ocassions. That and the wholesale damning of a differing opinion.

my opinion on this whole thing is although I dont really enjoy ferrall, I respect that he has an audience and a lot of people enjoy that. same goes for bubba, but I actually like listening to them sometimes. I think miserable men is well done, and so is riley martin. but I dont listen to riley. the SFRT is a bunch of asskissing and its not a well done show. mutt comes off as a big pompous fan that happens to host a sh*tty show.
