Default HowardTV - Free Preview

I just ordered this now. I am online like 10 minutes in. This is unreal. I am going to have to subscribe to HowardTV now.

Unfortunaltely for me it's not available in my area. I would think that any cable system that offers Howard Stern On-Demand (which mine does) would also offer the free preview. No such luck though. What's up with that!?

That's stange....I have very basic cable and am not intersted in getting digital. I might be able to afford it, but just with my Sirus alone, I barely get anything done!

If it could be simulcast live on my S50 as the show aired, I'd be all over it. But I have DishTV and swore off the cable company SOBs a few years ago. I would like to see them do an online version or something. Eventually, Sat TV should have the capability. They just recently started offering an On-Demand type service for movies in conjunction with the DishDVR, but the choices are very limited and I'm guessing it only has part of the movie downloaded and would retrieve the rest as needed. The interesting part was that they implemented this on the DVR remotely and it didn't impact the amount of storage space I had available for recording...

Smile I can’t recommend it enough!

I can’t recommend Howard TV enough to you guys! I’ve had it from the beginning and we still really enjoy it. I pay about $10/month, which is nothing considering the unique type of entertainment it is.

I’ve said this before on the board, so I hope you don’t think I’m starting to sound like a broken record, but listening to the show on the radio is just 50% of the whole experience. Seeing the goings-on in the studio completes the experience.

If you’re into the Howard Stern show, try the 1-cent preview. You’ll really enjoy it!

And as you know, Oren, they finally got the friiggin' Baba Booey Roast on Cablevision. I just saw it last night---so much better than just hearing it. Bob Levy & Colin Quinn were actually much funnier seeing them visually during the roast. Only downside was the butchering of the songs (thanks, ASCAP and RIAA. Fuck you!!!). A+.

Yup, I didn't see that one yet. The last one I saw was the Richard and hard rock guy's waxing episode. I see that Borat's episode is up now as well.

I think it sometimes takes a while for some of the episodes to appear because of editing/production, etc. They put a lot of work into them. They're different than the E! show as far as production value goes. Much better.

If your cable carrier doesn't carry Howard TV, call them and tell them that you want it.

Cablevision didn't carry it at first either. I asked for it and a couple weeks later they started carrying it. If there is enough interest in it, your cable company will consider carrying it.

Man, I know you're from the Bay Area, as am I, but you also hate the "good people at Comcast" as well as being a DishTV subscriber? Freaky, man.

I'm throwin' this out to all of you...If Howard takes the show to Vegas, would any of you here be willing to go out and meet up, you know, put ugly faces to lame screen names? You gotta figure he'll be doing that weeklong stint sometime next year, maybe spring?

It may be a tad premature, but would anyone be interested?

it was actually AT&T BroadBand Internet that drove me away from Cable, but I know ComCastards are no better. Same company, same bullshit, just a different logo. I'm quite happy with DishTV, and my OneLink DSL and VOIP thru speakeasy.net and of course my Sirius service.

Don't know about Vegas. it'd be fun but I can't seem to sell a Vegas trip to the wife on a regular trip, this wouldn't be any easier. Plus I won a trip (for 1) thru Scion to Miami in December, so our next one will probably be her choice.

PJ (lol) I'd be interested! Have only been to Vegas once, Jan 2006, and it was AWESOME! It'd be cool to meet up with you folks!

You can go cheap but stay at great places, too. You just have to watch for the deals.

As soon as they announce the dates, I'm guessing most of the listeners will start calling Tanya Roberts for her Vegas timeshare deals...

You can go on the cheap (somewhat) though. We stayed at the Luxor. GREAT place for like $90 per night. CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP considering the atmosphere!

Great bathroom/showers, too! lol You can fit 4 people in there!

(OK! I'm only KIDDING!! I weewy didn't do it!)
