Default Finally . . .

Finally, they had a good master tape theatre. This show is actually pretty good and funny. It's about time!

I agree. Some shows do not stand up to time. This one was classic.

The last two were just ok. The Rainbow Room and the Dracula Gottfried were awesome. This one's really good too.

I'll say this...Friday gives me a chance to listen to other programming on Sirius. I do listen to MTT too, but its so short, that I can do Octane, or Afternoon Advice on Playboy. Or whatever I want.

I only caught the first hour. It seemed that they were taking real commercial breaks every time there is was spot for a commercial break in the taped show? Am I wrong? I missed the Sam Kinnison bit today but my recollection is that he worked too hard at being outrageous. The funniest memories I have are when he was confronted for not showing up for the Joan Rivers show claiming that he had eaten bad Chinese food and the time that he and Howard got into a war, I think about Bon Jovie cancelling an appearance on Howard. In the end, after many insults, Howard forgave him but Ralph remained furious at him. And, of course, there was the classic Jessica Hahn incident when he shit on the floor or something like that.

Finally...the Friday Show is behind us.

Howard is really losing momentum by not having another Bitter Half ready to go. TV shows are popular because they are on at the same time every week. Friday morning would be the perfect time to run it each week. Am I the only one who is surprised he spent 10 months pumping it up and only has one show finished?? I expected a roll-out of new episodes after the launch last week. WTF?

I wouldn't be suprised if The Bitter Half truned out to be a one off. Most of these people have regular jobs, including Sam Simon. They can't be expected to put the time in that's needed to do a weekly or even monthly series. I imagine if you scheduled a taping the only ones who would not have a scheduling conflict and actually show up would be Bianca and Ralph.

I agree on the Friday observation. Bitter Half followed by Master tape would be great.. But I am not surprised they only had one episode. I think they wanted to wait for fan reaction before continuing.

The Bitter Half isn't up to Howard, Sam Simon wrote it, not Howard. I'm sure Sam is a very busy man, the Simpsons new season is getting ready to kick off. Each Simpsons episode takes 6-8 months to produce, from start to finish. Obviously, several episodes are in different stages of production at any given time. I'm sure when he has time and Howard gives him the OK, there will be another.

6-8 months per episode?! How long if Ralph wasn't staying there?

Really? I thought other than Sam's epic appearance, it was average. Actually, it's average if you figure in Sam's appearance. Without that, it's kind of flat. Blackswell and Out of the Closet have been much funnier, even on butchered Best ofs. I was expecting better. And I am the only one was kind of shocked to hear Howard's comments about dinning with a lesbain couple and comparing them to a straight couple...You wouldn't hear that now of days. It was very Ted Haggard, pre-scandal of him. It was funny but sort of unsettling....I wouldn't be shocked if they kind of regreted having him over.

The fact that it is so short is very cool!
