Default I love when they "review" albums.

Sorry for starting just about any thread that comes to mind while listening (I'm kind of bored), but I love in general when Howard plays a few cuts from albums and does a review. He should do it more often. Ripping apart Rod Stewart and his new career of selling covers to old ladies is pretty entertaining. Sometimes they'll rip apart music I like, though, but it's still OK. He seemed to kind of rag on Prince's "Black Sweat" after just litsening to a little but it's probably my favorite song of the year.

Those are fun segments.

They also did the Beatles album this morning.

I know. That was good but I love when they shred albums.

I thought Howard did dismiss the Beatles album...but then it seems like the more he heard, the more he might have liked it.

Not to derail onto a different radio show, but Adam Corolla did the funniest segment on music and on music of the 80's the past couple of days. Adam is a friend of the show, so I hope my post isn't too out of wack here. Just had me thinking about it again with this topic.

it's always hilarious when they get their hands on some bad album or do a "review" of a bad TV show. I remember the bit that got me to start recording and archiving the show was when Howard ripped apart an Eddie Murphy music album back in the early/mid 90's. It was always great when he'd pop in a John Tesh CD or some horrible CD from some lame DJ (Mark and Brian and Steve Dahl come to mind). Jackie was playing one of his horrible folk songs during the Joke Hunt today which made me think of when they ripped apart one of Jackie's old music albums. Ahhh.... good times....

Sounds like he only dismissed it because why buy it again. It didn't sound like a bad review. Maybe average.
