Default alternate ways to hear Howard at work?

I currently listen to Howard and other Sirius programming via the internet during the day at work, but I'm about to start a new job where they dont want employees to stream audio over the internet.

Since I'm not guaranteed to get a desk where I'll have a view of outside and could use my Starmate receiver, does anyone have ideas of other ways to be able to hear Howard at work? For those that own a Stilleto, if theres a wireless connection available can it just use it or is a login/password required for whatever network it belongs to?

I've heard of people using PDA's or Smartphones to stream Howard...he even mentioned something about Verizon on the show this morning. Anyone have success doing that and what are the pros/cons of it?

Are there alternate players that could stream Sirius and lower the bitrate to keep it from showing up on the IT radar? Are there programs that can mask my IP so that the company couldnt tell that it was my computer which was doing the streaming?

Thanks!

The Stiletto still needs a wireless internet connection to stream, so it would depend on the wireless connection(s) you have available at work. More than likely, you would only have access to your in-house wireless, so that would do you no good if they don't allow streaming. Also, the Stiletto is able to log into secure, encrypted wireless net with no login/password, but a login/password or other verification is not supported at this time.

You could use the stiletto to record the show on a replay at night and listen to at work a day behind. Or you could set something up at home to record the show to MP3 and listen on any MP3 player (that's what I do). You can find plenty of threads about recording to mp3 if you do a search.

I have used an Ipaq running WinCE with great results. I installed SiriusCE(that program gets the channels an handles the login) and windows media takes care of the stream. I can point you to the right path if you post what you have to worjk with.

Maybe you can check to see if your new workplace is in range of a repeater.

I stream the show to a Motorola Q using SiriusWM5. Works fine, but the unlimited data service is expensive. I have also used SiriuCE 2.x, but prefer the SiriusWM5 software.
