with all the popularity artie has gained, carnegie, the roasts, etc. my question is, why doesn't he do madison square garden? surely he could fill the place, no?

I doubt he could fill MSG. Plus MSG is a ton of money now to rent out. WWE wrestling(a very longtime staple of MSG) used to do shows there all the time, but they've cut down drastically because of how much it costs now to rent out the place.

I think you'd have to be of a dane cook kind of comedian to sell out the garden-no?

I remember that Dice also sold out the garden years ago? or am I thinking of someone else?

Artie is not that well known outside of the Howard Stern community....

with that said..... being able to sell out a 3,000 seat venue in 30 minutes is very impressive.


....but another 10,000 -> I don't know

Artie's definitely gaining in popularity, but to sell-out Madison Square Garden you have be at the kind of level of someone like Eddie Murphy or Dice at their peaks in 80's.

I think he could do Felt Forum which is one of the many things inside MSG. There is more then one arena in MSG.
