It seems like the quality is slipping but this is a very good one, too. Suzzanne Summers is a pretty fun interview and you can't go wrong with Whack Packers!

I found it funny, though, that they didn't include in the promo or in the bumps the best part of the show....Howard talking to these two mental patients! I live for these type of phone calls on the show! I think I must've heard this the first time it played, since it was probably around 6 and I didn't have school until 7 and I could walk there in a few mintues. To me, this is the highlight of the show, it would be great to catch it again (I didn't catch it on the first reairing this morning). I don't understand why this wasn't in the promo...It's more of a selling point than the guy who sucked his dick for a second.

This is an interesting history lesson. Howard is talking about "Perfect 10" for the first time. I know he hasn't mentioned it recently but he used to be obessed with it and had the models in all the time. Also, several mentions of Ranch 1. Are they still in business....what the hell is/was that? A pizza place that gave them free food because they were advertisers?

And Yanni, too. It's so funny to hear what was going on at the time with pop culture, politics, and of course, the show and it's members.

Close...Ranch 1 is a grilled chicken eatery franchise. I believe it is still in business.

Ranch 1 sold grilled chicken sandwiches and fries, but it was a bit more expensive than McDonald's. They had a decent sized presence here in the city in the late '90s.

All I know is, I have not been dissapointed once with MTT. Absolutely love it. I used to hate terrestrial days when they would play best of clips. Complete shows are soo much better!

Todays MTT was GREAT!

I really liked hearing "Alice, the black chick that hates black people" at the beggining of her evolution.
It reminded me to miss Kenneth Keith also, that dude was funny.

I remember listening to this same show at my desk in San Diego all those years ago... ah the memories.

Anyone else catch the phone call by the broker who gave a short analysis of the stockmarket before howard hung up on him? Sure sounded like sal. he was probably leading up to an "HTJ" mention before howard hung up on him...

I'm wondering....Cause Sal bagged on Gary for years, and he had the name Sal the Stokebroker for that long. I wonder. Anyway, while not my favorite MTT, it was a very interesting history lesson.

Thanks to you the both of you. I remember always hearing him talk about it and it always sounded like a place that sold Pizza and fatty food....not quite McDonalds....More like Sbarro or something...and the Ranch part didn't make much sense....do they include Ranch with everything? But I don't think I ever heard a commerical and probably for good reason. It must be a local thing. It's so crazy that Howard was so big even then and was subjected to do a million local commericals....He did commericals for the eye laser center here that he probably recorded early on and they played for years and years! Well, thanks for clearing that up.

That phone call from 'Robert Stevenson' was definitely Sal he didn't say anything but i'm sure if Howard left him on the phone he'd do his HTJ thing. Also heard Crazy Alice her in studio appearance saw going to be on the E! show didn't sound quite as angry. Don't hear much from Janks of Kenneth Keith on Sirius.

I remember when they played a clip of her on the Friday Show (the now cancelled Friday Show) and she didn't sound the same at all. At least she sounded the same on that short phone clip (even though she had a cold). I'm not sure what her deal is or was....back then she just hated black people? I wouldn't doubt that when on Krock, she probably got wild and started swearing and Howard told her if she kept it up, she couldn't be on the air. Maybe that's why she isn't as angry. It goes without saying that if anybody from back in the day has become a clear break out star, it's Crazy Alice! Her rants are awesome, although maybe she is a bit overused when Artie tries to rile her up.

Did you hear the bit they played where Kenneth is introducing Howard and Kenneth is just repeating "I got a dildo, I got a dildo!". F'ing priceless.

I can honestly say I've never been dissapointed. Just the quality is just slipping. Wasn't their first episode one with Glibert? Dracula Godfried!? And there was like 90 other great things happening like a press confrence and some other stuff......I almost coudln't beileive they could do all that in one show! You don't beat that with Suzanne Summers and some guy blowing himself..

I love MTT because they seem to get so much into less than four hours! It's funny because the regular show is running longer but it doesn't seem like as much stuff is happening. Not to say one is better (altough over the last few months, after the initial great shows, I'm leaning more toward MTT) but it's as if the more frequent commerical breaks force them to get more done. Sure, some topics are never dropped during the course of a day, but other things are going on. It's amazing to listen to the show like this! Sometimes the commerical breaks feel like 30 seconds and their back!

I listened to an old show yesterday, the April 1st show of 2004. Besides it being a great show a couple of bits jumped out at me.

1) A caller mentioned that Howard should jump ship from KROCK and go to XM satellite(this was before Howard's Sirius deal)where he wouldn't have to deal with the censorship issues.

2) During the phoney morning show that was to have replaced Howard's show they ran bunch of different lame bits that a normal vanilla morning show would do. One of the bits was a contest where the callers had to identify one fake celebrity story among three other real celebrity stories. If that's not a huge slam against the Gossip Game, I don't know what is.

I wish there was a platform that we could use to request shows for MTT. This would be one for April...just brilliant.

Anyone remember the date where Howard sarted things off with an hour or so intro of music and TV clips that talked about censorship and stuff? I remember hearing a lot about that phoney morning show but never catching it (or maybe just that part of it). I remember listening that day and I had an appointment at 8...I knew what the point was but I was getting pissed cause I wanted my Howard fix.

I'm also hoping that Howard or someone sets up some system where fans can make request for certain shows. The ones they are playing are good but I think we all have shows that we find very memorable. I remember Howard said he heard the show where Robin was bitching that Allison, not Howard, picked out her birthday gift. I loved that (on the E! show, I never heard the entire show) and can't wait! I hope the Thanksgiving week (I always forget, will it be all week, or do they work Mon and Tues?) it's all MTT, and no Sirius shows.
