Default Master Tape Theater / Crazy Alice

MTT ran a show from 1997 today. It was a typical show of that era, but what peaked my interest was hearing Crazy Alice call in. At the time, they simply referred to her as 'Alice, the black woman who hates black people.' She sounded younger, nicer, almost bubbly. Still a little weird though. Interesting how she's morphed into what she is now. I knew she's been around for a few years, but didn't realize it's been almost ten years.

She was nice to the Stern crew but flew off the handle at any callers who gave her shit about not liking or trusting black people. She would insult them and yell things like, "You don't know me! You don't know my pain!"

That used to be her key line..."You don't know my pain!". We don't Alice, but we'll keep trying to understand. She's been through some shit...she ain't saying it, but I assume her father did more than just hit her.

Anyone catch the first mention of Viagra during the news segment? It was discussed as the impotency pill that was a year away from being placed on the market. And it was indeed approved in 1998.

It sounded like no big deal, just another pill. It also said there's a small risk of side effects, funny stuff.
