Default Jack Black

I thought Howard couldn't stand this guy? He will be on later on this week to promote his new Tenacious D movie.

I seem to remember Howard making a few jokes about Jack Black since he's been on Sirius, but nothing that would be considered too harsh.

Jack Black seems to tolerate Howard for promotional stuff, but I don't think he likes him much.

Always been a fan of tenacious D, since middle school. I guess I can't shake 'em.

I'm a fan of Jack black mostly, just not nacho libre and some of that stuff.

I remember Howard slamming on Jack Black since he's been at Sirius.

Is there a specific reason Howard dislikes Jack Black or is it just because he finds him unfunny?

I, for one, love JB and "The D" and can't wait to hear him on the show.

Howard liked School Of Rock but Kyle made some odd comments on another show ( I think it was Loveline of all shows ) and Howard played the clip.

Shortly before departing KROCK, Howard started bashing JB on the air because he remembered the comments (not specifically which is understandable.)

JB then came in with an olive branch (literally) and everything was patched up.

I can't think of anything Howard bad had to say about Jack Black...Then again, my listening was kind of sporadic around the end of Krock. Anyone remember specfically what he said? It sucks that they can't get along. I'm big fans of both and refuse to pick a side.

From what I remember, it was simply how Jack Black was unfunny.

I can't remember anything specific.

It was around this time last year that Howard was going on and on about how he was going to guest host Saturday Night Live to promote Sirius in a sketch. He would co-host along with a bigger star who could carry the workload of being in sketches. He couldn't decide between two performers who would be doing the show the weeks he was available. One was Alec Baldwin and the other was Jack Black. Kind of funny how cyclical these promotional shows are. In any case Howard never did the show and Jack Black said some things that eventually got back to Howard. Jack came on the air at Sirius to apologize, it weren't at KROCK...I'm pretty sure.
