Great review and he hit the nail on the head. I just wish writers would learn the difference between Heroin and Heroine. Heroin is an highly addictive and illegal opiate, Heroine is friggin' Wonder Woman.

Would you like to compare the number of articles on Howard and their positive spin since he went to satellite with the number of articles about O&A (and no, articles in Cracked and Steppin' Out don't count )?

Didn't think so, Chuckles.

The author claims to have become such a fan that he listens to the show daily, "sometimes for the entire four hour span."

That's quite a claim, except for the small fact that the show lasts five hours. There goes this guy's credibility.

I don't think it makes a lot of sense to disregard an intelligent, well-written article just because the author wrote the word "four" instead of "five" in one sentence. Logic like that is how people come to the conclusion that OnA being moved from a pay channel to a free channel on XM (after attracting only 30,000 subscribers), then being offered for free on regular FM is a sign of their "success".

I always thought of it as a four hour show that usually goes over...way over. That's why on days when Howard says he has to get out "on time", he's talking about 10:00 (though he rarely if ever makes it). There's plenty of times when they're done before 11.

Also, if the writer of the article is mainly familiar with Howard's terrestrial show, that was a four hour program. They frequently went longer than that, but it was only scheduled as four. When there was the whole flap about him promoting Sirius while still on FM, our local station began cutting off the show at 10am, because they said they were only contracted to run four hours of it. So, if this guy listened to Howard on FM and is just now getting into satellite, then it probably still seems like a four hour show to him, even though it is longer.

That makes sense, but let's give the trolls a break. They are still basking in the fact that one subscriber (1!!!) on SBS has stated he is going to cancel his subscription(s) to Sirius because he is unhappy (yet, he is still going to download The Show illegally on a daily basis). This article is a wet blanket on that celebration and since they really have so little in their lives, we should cut 'em some slack. Besides, everyone knows the only articles that count are in Cracked and Steppin' Out.
