Default Today's MTT (11/17)

I think Eddie Money is a real character. They barely started the interview but I can't believe his revleation about the girlfriend and everything. Interesting stuff..probably didn't help his career, though. Does he still do the show...I can' think of ever hearing him on the show but I know remember him doing other shows around here in Detroit (I think his tours are a real draw here).

This was a short one....It's not even nine and it's over? They didn't even really say goodbye (they ended it with the record, which they didn't even play all the way)...could it be that they didn't have the whole tape? A really good one if you like Eddie Money and all his drama. Good storytelling by Howard and the bit was funny mostly because Eddie sucked so much at it and kept goofing around. A good MTT...I gotta say I'm not looking all that forward to Vegas week. Hopefully over Christmas they'll just play random MTT's like I assumed they would and not have some sort of theme week bullshit!

Christmas week has to have at least one replay of the Christmas show that got him his first fine for saying "Big black lesbian crazy with lust" right after the lesbian said she didn't mind going after a white girl because "it's all pink on the inside!" The whole show was on Crucified by the FCC and was hysterical. The best part was when they had the NYC Gay Men's Choir in to sing Christmas Carols:

(to the tune of Winter Wonderland)

With a rope and some winches
We'll stretch you to fourteen inches
A beautiful sight
My tuckas so tight
Christmas at the Men's Club NYC!

It doesn't seem like there is any method to Howard's madness (if he is the one making the choice about what gets played) when it comes to all the MTT's played but there is a definately a shift toward things that would be cenosred to the pont of boredom on "Best Of" (I guess this is the only time they've replayed this interview with Eddie Money?). I thought his first FCC fine was for Christmas but the reason was the guy playing a piano with his dick? It's funny that they used to do so much for Christmas. I remember watching an E! show probably from 1994 (the first year of the show) and they had all this stuff going on for Christmas....Hopefully they'll do something funny this year with Christmas carols...Listening today's show, it kind of sucks that Howard and Fred don't do bits anymore and leave it up to Sal and Richard.

Yeah, the show was REALLY short today, which was a huge dissapointment. I guess it goes to show you how often they had to stop for commercial breaks back in the days of testicle radio. The Eddie Money interview was good, and I loved how Sir Hard-'n-Thick prefaced the segment by saying it was banned from future broadcast because Eddie's people were being dicks about it...not even allowed on Crucified by the FCC.

Short, but good MTT

Same show. There was some confusion over which segment got the fine. I'm pretty sure it was lesbian bit because the "penis piano" wasn't really anything but a musical performance. Then again, when did logic concern the FCC? I was listening back then and he said he was fined for saying the "crazy with lust" thing, but later it became the piano. Who knows? Howard was never one to speak to facts when instead he can speak the legend and a "penis piano" bit is funnier than an off the cuff lesban remark.

Commercials really killed the show back then.

It's funny because now of days there is like this video that goes around that both my mom and sister saw of a guy playing the paino with his dick (I guess it isn't a real piano or something). And the lesbain remarks..."Crazy with lust". Come on! They gotta play that show!

Commericals just kill raido. I still don't have my Sirius in my car (a boombox/internet listener) and I tend to listen to commerical radio in my car. With AM it's bad not horrible....with FM, they will kill you with not only long but too many breaks! I kind of like the Free Talk station here for afternons and midmornings (the former Howard station, which become talk a long time ago) but the fucking commericals kill it!

Yeah, that show was great. They had "Speech Impediment Christmas Carol" with Elephant Boy and other stuttering fools, The Gay Men's Choir, the penis piano and Howard interviewing a big black lesbian -

Howard - "Are you attracted to white women?"
BBLCWL - "It's all pink on the inside!"
Howard - "Look Robin, it's a big black lesbian, crazy with lust!"

Good question (don't know the answer....just saying it's a good question). Didn't sound to bad in the middle but I'm used to it at the end, always have been.

I tried to be positive and like MTT but I really hate it. I just don't care about old Howard, unless it is a "best of" like they did with the top ten moments of all time.

Where do they get the shows from? I mean, who decides to replay and Eddie Money interview. I hate these MTT's and don't even listen on Friday.

I LOVE IT. I wish they did it on the weekend as well. It's great to hear these time capsules.

I think they should replay the day of the O.J. verdict. Robin wasn't in the studio that day.
