Default Anyone remember Howard's Rod Stewart remix?

I remember on the last week of terrestrial radio on K-rock howard did a remix of Rod Stewarts "Have you ever seen the rain". It went something like "Radio, will never be the same. I gotta gooo, but I wont be far awayy". That song was awesome I was just wondering if anyone remembers or possibly has it or knows where I can get howard singing to that tune.

You mean the Creedence Clearwater Revival song that Rod Stewart covered. Yeah, they did that song a few times. It wasn't all that great.

No, I am talking about a song that HOWARD sang to the tune of Rod Stewart's song. This happened back in december of 2005 during his last week on terrestrial.

O.K....I will type this out for you very slowly....Howard sang to the tune of a CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL song. The song is called, "Have You Ever Seen the Rain". Rod Stewart must have done a cheesy cover of it some decades later than the original CCR tune.

Just in case this still doesn't register, here's a breakdown from Marksfriggin from December 1, 2005.

* Howard And Richard's Song Parody. 12/01/05. 6:00am
Show opening bits and songs included: One of many Baba Booey Song Parodies, ABC News report about WXRK not coming through with a prize.

Howard said he was going to play a meaningful song this morning which turned out to be him singing a song parody about leaving terrestrial radio. It was to the tune of Creedence Clearwater Revival's ''Have You Ever Seen the Rain.'' Howard thanked Richard for writing the lyrics but Robin goofed on him for singing along with Howard because it didn't sound all that great. Howard said he wasn't going to tell anyone that it was Richard singing, he was going to leave it a mystery.*

If by chance I zoned out and missed Howard singing a ROD STEWART song, then I'm sorry, but I really think THIS is what you're refering to.

I should also add that the reference to Richard's singing was for his BACK UP singing, not lead singing. Lest there be ANY confusion on this utterly pointless post.
