Face it, commercials are close to being out of control again, Howard works barely 4 days a week, takes tons of vacation time, and keeps forcing MTT on listeners and fans who, for the most part, don't want to hear old and irrelevant shows from 20 years ago as part of a pay subscription. I want the show to be what it can be, and the early part of 2006 was great. Will that be the "heyday" of the Howard Stern Show? Is that as good as it will ever be, and will it be all downhill from here? Will this spell the end for Sirius at some point?

I know one thing, it will - if fans don't speak up and complain. You can't do it on SFN (not really, anyway), so this might be the only place to do so.
So, do people like myself who enjoy the show as it is not have a brain in their head? People who enjoy the show are stupid? I hate to tell you this, but your opinion is not the "right" opinion. Everyone has their own opinion and you suggesting that people who enjoy the show are just eating up anything Howard feeds us simply because we blindly follow Howard like a bunch of sheep and people who have complaints about the show are the ones with a brain in their head, is condescending and quite arrogant on your part.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and I respect everyone's opinion here, but what I have noticed on this message board is that it seems like the same people complain about EVERY aspect of the show. The Fridays off, MTT, vacations, the shows are too long, the shows are too short, Howard's too mean to Artie, Artie's too mean to Crazy Alice, they're all mean to Bubba, people hate the Football picks... and on and on and on. Listening to you guys, it sounds like there is nothing RIGHT about the show. So, my question is... why do you listen?

Honestly, given the choice, I would rather have a live show on Fridays. Sometimes it's cool to hear some of the older shows, but if I'm not into a particular MTT... I change the channel.

Tell me who has the better brain - The people who like what they like and find alternative entertainment during the times that don't satisfy them, or the people who constantly complain about something and continue to pay for what obviously does not entertain them? Sorry to say guys, but some of you really need a jumbo sized f'in Midol. I hate some things about the show. I strongly dislike other things. But it is (to me) 10 times better than it was on Free FM and I'm getting my dollars worth and then some. If I wasn't getting my dollars worth, I'd cancel. Either way, you wouldn't find me PMS'ing about it on this board because I tend not to bitch and moan about things I have no control over. I'd either cancel or put up with it, because frankly - whining is for 13 year old girls. Sorry for the Artie Lange-like "go wash your pussies" attack, but if it can be said I haven't a brain for not complaining, I guess I have the right to say the whiners all sound like they have a little too much estrogen coursing through their system. Jesus Christ I have twin 11 year old neices who bitch and moan less than some of you.

"Oh Godfather, what can I do? My life is useless without a new show on Friday and now here comes more vacation and Howard seems to want to leave early and he's not giving me what I need for my 12.99. . . What can I do Godfather???

Artie (in Godfather voice):YOU CAN BE A MAN!!!

I prefer a live friday show, less vacation, etc. but these are the things Howard Stern got with his deal with Sirius they could have said no but then Howard might have gone to XM or just quit radio all together he no doubt thought when he made his deal in 2004 he'd have the old tapes from the beginning when he didn't he was live some fridays then we got the 'Friday Show' nothing will change unless it shows it effects sales & subsciptions.
