Default The Most Extraordinary Thread!

Fat Fucking Artie is really getting annoying with his "the most extraordinary" this or that.

Artie says something is "the most extraordinary" about 40 times a day.
It could be anything from a TV show, to a baseball player, to a specific food.

I am beggining to find it "extraordinarily" irritating!

Seems like everytime he says it he's talking about food.

He said it earlier today about a documentary on the last days of Elvis' life.

Then again later about the Chocolate Chippers.

We should make a list of all "the most extraordinary" things according to Fat Artie.

Its almost as annoying as "Blah, Blah, *Random statement*, and let me tell you why"

I hadn't thought of it before, but he's right. It doesn't bother me that much because Artie is so entertaining it's easy to overlook the verbal rut he's in when it comes to "extraordinary."

It annoys me a little the way John Hein always talks about how a guest "fared," or how a guest will "fare" in some situation.

Good point, that bugs me too come to think of it!

another one is how george keeps saying how people "fancy themselves" this or that.

any man that says someone "fancies themselves" is clearly taking it in the pooper.

I'm really trying to think here....I never noticed that. He must say it but I guess it just doesn't stick out as a notable expression. It almost sounds kind of gay. I know a straight guy whose second langauge is English and he says something like that which I find strange. I think he sometimes describes things as "fabulous" and he is totally straight (married for a hundred years).

The only notable thing that someone kept repeating on the show that ever really irritated me was Howard's "bums me out". Like a whinning baby, he used to say that a lot a few years back! It was most anonnying when he had an offical board up and read comments that "bummed him out". Any criticism from fans "bums him out"....Get pissed or something, Howard. That bullshit more than "bums me out"....it sometimes gets me to change the station, which is why I was kind of off and on right before Howard made the trip to Sirius.

He does say that a lot, but not as much as "the greatest or best ____ ever" or when he says either "insane" or "insanely". Those are his mainstays, his comforter conversation blanket.

"The Broccoli Raab at Johnny's in Hoboken is EXTRAOOOORDINARY. The way they make it with a side of moozerell, it's just INSANELY delicious, THE GREATEST FOOD EVER".

LMAO! We need to write a community email to the show instructing Artie to cease and desist with the Adjectives!!!!

Why can't he have a penis and just say something is good or bad?

No straight man says fabulous!

I know. I'm not 100% sure if it is fabulous but it's something like that. He doesn't say it often but he often mixes up things, too. The guy lived in Italy half his life. Adjectives aren't bad but "most extradtionary" is up there with fabulous in my opinion.

I read this about "insanely" on the board a couple of weeks ago...and now that's all I hear from Artie. Is there any way I can UNREAD that post? Its like buying a new car and then seeing the same car everywhere you go.

Yeah, sorry...that was me. I wish there was a way I could untype it...twice. At least Artie doesn't misuse the word 'literally'.
