Default What are your top 3 Best moments for 2006?

Allright guys time to name your Top 3 moments of the Howard Stern show 2006, I'll start.

1.) the creation and goofing on J.D.'s techno song
2.) the Gary Roast
3.) the GOOD Richard and Sal phony phone calls.

1. The revelations...Howard reveals nothing but gets both Robin and Artie to make show altering confessions (Scott's wasn't bad, either)

2. Crazy Alice comeback! It's not a single moment but if you were to give Alice one moment in time over the last year, it would have to be her first and most memorable confrontation with Artie, where Artie kept it up with her for nearly 20 mins, mostly doing an imitation of her. Honorable mention to her Satan voice call.

3. George Takaei's appearances. Not a moment so much, but everytime he is on, he's entertaining. I guess if I were to give him one moment, probably when he came back over the summer (I think...maybe it was March) and sang that parody were he called Artie his cuddly muffin!

1. Anytime George Takai is on. The show is always good but George just adds such another dimension to this show. He is brilliant.

2. Sal and Richard terrorize public access. Not a huge fan of these guys but I love it when they call the public access shows.

3. The Gary Roast

Honorable Mentions:

JD's theme music
The Revelations
The first day 1/9/06
MAC-HINE
Grandma Caprio
The Kissyfur segment (phone sex with JD)

I agree with Vinny, except I'll substitute Artie's heroin revelation for #1. Nothing encapsulated the show like that one shift from humor to busting balls to true family caring. Extra credit for the HTV coverage of Howard getting up and hugging him. #4 would be the Gary Roast and #5 would be the staff revelations.

Wow. How could I forget the Heroin revelation. Good call on that one.

Defintately a very honorable mention to the Herion revelation...Maybe stronger and more "show altering" than the first set of revelations. Really...Howard got up and hugged Artie? Fhag... That would've been great to see.

1) Beetlejuice appearence when they had the "spelling bee" with Beet and Levy, and the fight with Artie that happened after.

2) Jenna Jameson's appearence. Her talking about hooking up with Jenny McCarthy, her sibian ride, and then P. Diddy's reaction afterwards..."Smells like, smells like...PUSSY!!!!!!!"

3) fuckingmachines.com girls appearence. Gary gets sprayed with female ejaculate. Artie's construction related lines "after we're done drilling her, can I snake the wires through?"

for me its the small things...

sure all three Roasts would be 1-3 for my top 3... but the exclusive stuff will probably be:

1) Dice and Artie fight

2) Richard and Sal phony phone calls: "I'll Pay ya to meet ya", "hows the weather up there?"

3) MaC-hine!

too much good stuff to just pick three. off the top of my head:

- the addition of George as announcer. who would have thought what a good fit he would turn out to be?

- sal and richard shock the balls. i rarely laugh that hard at anything

- artie waking up and being himself. he was never really able to let loose on fm radio. he is 10 times better on satellite.

- REPLAYS REPLAYS REPLAYS!!! (not really a show moment, but I still love the replays!)

- all the other programming on H100 and H101. I realy like all the other "specialty" shows along with bubba and ferel. some more than others, but overall it is a very good package of shows.

despite all the whining and complaining (and trolling) that goes on here I think the show has never been better than is has been this past year. and not only is it better, but now I don't have to miss a single minute of the show with all the replays! 2006 was a VERY good year for Stern fans.

I'll just go with my top story of 2006...and its George Takai. What a great addition he has been. I look forward to every moment of him on the show.
