Default Marketing GENIUS!

Love how he came out dressed as Santa and passed out the Stilleto! But the real genius was giving a stilleto to every member of the audience! I am the white Oprah!

I am suprised how much latitude Dave is giving him on talking about Sirius, plus Howard is working it in the stories really well!

Yeah, it's probably not a Stilleto - still a great gift

(What do you guys think about him talking so nicely about Gayle King..."she's so engaging"... - She's also the competition!!)

I know it was a Stilleto he gave Paul and Dave. I am pretty sure he said that is what the audience is getting. Can't wait to see the clip!

Hell, this time last year I don't think they would have had enough S50's to even supply everyone in the audience. Do they have that many Stilleto's that they can just give that many away?!

He gave Paul and Dave the Stiletto and then said "And I have Sirius for every member of the audience" ....

What a great appearance! I bet he sold 20,000 subs at least. It was clear at the end Dave was getting a little uncomfortable when Howard was talking about Sibahn though, but still great!

Yeah, that was a pretty good appearance. The mimicking Oprah thing where he gave out Stilettos(?) to the audience while dressed in a Mrs. Claus suit was pure fucking genius from a marketing standpoint! I wouldn't say it was anywhere near his best late-night appearance, but it was damn good one. I honestly expect him to be even more entertaining on Conan (and Kimmel) where it's a much more laid back type of show without having someone constantly interrupting you.

Great show except for the douchey comments by Dave at the end.

It was pretty good and will definately get him and Sirius some much needed attention....But did he explain Stellito's at all? Wish I was in the audience....
I agree with Wayne, though, that Dave definately made some douche comments about his show being free. When he first made the comment about it being free and he was drunk every night, that made me chuckle but then after Gwen performed he and Paul went on with the show being free....Yeck! Wonder if that was CBS influence there. Still a great performance and it sounds like he meet with Gwen and she was nice!

I'm watching Conan right now and that will hopefully be a great appearance, too. This whole Horny Manatee thing is cracking me up!

It was a little douchey, but it is Dave's show. I'm sure he knows tons of people tuned in just to see Howard, I'm sure he would love to see a few of those extra people tune in everynight. I guess it was his way of promoting his own show. Who really knows though.
