How do you think I know it? You keep coming here and endlessly parrot it. Besides, how many times do I have to tell you that I've tried to listen to them in the past and gave up before you retire O&A Talking Point #321:

"Thank people for listening anytime they bring up anything resembling something that may have been said at one time on the show."

Soon followed by a ripoff from Private Parts where they say something like "most people who listen hate the hosts but they want to hear what they do next."

P.S. If "DO THEY!!?? and "bbboys" are what they call slang, they really need to go back to school. One is an interrogative and the other is a misspelling (or a stutter), but neither one is slang.

Wouldn't I need an XM rad....oh, they couldn't cut it as exclusive content!

I gave that shit a listen this morning during my drive. Awful! They need to sound angry at the people that work with them all the time for no reason, as if Howard does that! So forced and sucky! And what is this homeless mall thing...oh, fuck off!

In my rush to get out the door today I forgot my Sirius listening device and was relegated to my FM walkman back up. I listened to Carolla which was very good. After his show was over the O&A show came on and I listened for TWO HOURS. It was horrible. Right as I was turning off the radio they did a funny bit about Yoko Ono, but for me it was a day late and two dollars short.

I hear that all but one of their radio markets decided NOT to carry their weekend 'homeless shopping' show. You mean to tell me that the 'Triple Shot Weekends' across the United States couldn't be preempted for FREE FM's second answer to Howard Stern?
Boy, this weekend I hope FREE FM will play, 'Night Moves'-'Like A Rock'-and then 'Old Time Rock & Roll'.

I live in the Bay Area. Carolla is best of from 5-6, then his daily show from 6-10, O&A come on after Carolla.

By the way, the caller who called into Howard to play the 'What weighs more or less than Artie Lange' is a bit that Adam has been doing since January. Adam has a co-worker called 'Fat Tad', they do what weighs more than Tad.

But everytihng else on Adam's show sounds very familiar, as if I've heard it before somewhere...hmmm. At least Adam is a funny guy.

Adam has been doing that, AND his show is getting better and better by the week. I love it.

So what does he rip off from Howard, then? BTW, I had to drive early this morning and since all radio is terrible I said "Let me try giving those douches a shot". Awful analysis of the whole Rosie/Chinesse press thing. I guess Howard did not comment on it enough, so they are stuck. I also like how they like Rosie now...interesting!

O & A did not have to go on 3 talk shows this week to promote their show.

Is RUSH UNsuccessful because HE is in multiple markets and NOT exclusive?

Thank you,

And what if they did...Who gives a shit? Meanwhile, they are doing Leno, but I guess we don't have to point that out.

The Rush arguement makes no sense! Rush is in all markets because for some reason, he is safe! He is not banned from anywhere. What I'm pointing out is the fact that O&A couldn't cut it on XM, which is what you of course won't note! That's a blow to both XM and CBS, not a good investment. How fucking hypocritical is it that Free FM has to carry guys from a pay show....how messed up is it that there supposed XM equivlent to Stern has to be put on free radio (as well as several music stations packed with commericals). So why should I get an XM? Yeah....And judging by the ratings, they can't EVEN give that shit away!

Uhh, have you seen the ratings? They should go on a lot more than 3 talk shows considering the sub 1.0 they are getting in most of their markets. Then again, most of their target audience has probably already heard them and said "no thanks."

After O&A's last letterman appearance (where Dave made them bow to howard), I'd stay away from the talk shows, too...

Howard's show has influenced all kinds of radio. There's a sports talk radio station out here where the two monday morning quarterbacks play sound effects constantly. You also get to hear the producer of the show chiming in with his two cents. I'm hearing this kind of radio more and more.

Adam's show is no different in that respect. Adam has a sound effects guy who's closer to Sal's sensibilities than Fred's. Adam also has a woman reading the news. On Adam's show the woman is a professional comedy writer who has a very quick wit. Although Robin would have only a specious claim to writing comedy, she is very funny...in my opinion.

Adam's show has taken another of Stern's cues by getting interns and sales people and segment cooridnators into the mix. The beautiful thing is that with Adam, none of it seems forced or copied like it feels to me with Opie & Anthony.
