Post Did Howard ruin Sirius for anyone else?

I was thinking about this today... I bought Sirius in the October before he started and I loved the music... listened all the time to the music stations.

Now, I barely listen to the music, I'll listen to Howard and a replay.. then I listen to Bubba.

I'm actually happy for the break so I can listen to music again and not feel like I'm missing anything in the channels.

Granted... the best of 2006 will be hard to pass up. DAMN YOU STERN!

I bought it for Stern...so he has made Sirius for me. I try and get in other programming when I can.

Stern was my deciding factor between XM and Sirius as I listened to him on Testicle Radio.

I guess it was more of a tongue in cheek observation. When he annouced he was going to Sirius I only pictured him doing his regualr morning show... not two channels worth of programs w/ replays.

Trust me... Sirius isn't ruined in my eyes... I can't live without it now

I listened to a ton of NPR and Sirius Left last year... now, I don't have enough time in my day between Bubba and Howard. Then again, over the next 3 weeks I'll have plenty of time to listen to other shows in the morning.

I bought Sirius, and x2 S50's, for Stern first and foremost. The music has been a HUGE bonus for me and my wife.

This is what makes Satellite Radio the coolest...even if one day you don't want to listen to Howard or whatever there's a bazillion other channels to listen to.

It's awesome. My S50 just died to other day. Since I'll be doing alot of traveling the next few weeks, I had to pick up an extra radio just to get through the holidays. I got the Exact at Walmart for $28.00. The sound quality is better with it than the S50. I hope I get my Howard Fist key chain.

I'm actually jamming out to music as I get ready for work then just toss my recorded Howard show into my mp3 player and listen it in the car. I'll be having the Sirius music on at my house during the holiday week, should impress the guests (no commercials!).

For MAXIM Radio maybe. Then again, who'd want to listen to that G-rated disaster anyway?

Nah, I don't think so. Sometimes I don't exactly have the time I'd like for listening to other programming because I'm too busy with Howard, but now that recordable units are available that's not so much a problem anymore.

Nah, he didn't ruin it. Then again when I joined it was the other way around: I got it for the music but Howard was a BIG bonus.
