Default The Year in Review: May

Would you believe it, they took another week of vacation? That said, May was their strongest month to date.

The whole Bubba Rap song thing was the first thing that got me interested in tuning to 101, to hear him rail his guys about letting Howard's folks get the song. Full trucker effect or something was how he described how pissed he was about it.

The Bubba song is interesting only because of the Alice reworking, which makes it's excellent. She has a flow even though it's not really her actually rapping along...She's just doing her thing and it works. As much as I apperciate these list, I still got a gripe with there being no specfic Crazy Alice or Riley moments. You obiviusly did your research since ever time Artie and Dana broke up it' listed...and that was only interesting the first time and toward the end when "Dana" and "Grandma Caprio" would "call in". Just my little gripe but you've explained why you didn't include these two phenom's of Sirius before. Riley often does his thing best on his own show. Contract negotations were pretty great, though.

Yeah, I think those would have been on a seperate listing. There could be a seperate list for phoney calls, parodies and what not. Honestly, the research was hurried over a sketch of notes, nothing concrete, but as it would happen, a trifle better than what the station provided...in my opinion. As always, your mileage may vary.

Well it's much better than the lazy listing on Sirius's offical site!
