Default The Year in Review: December

Howard made the rounds on late night TV as the first year of Sirius broadcasts played themselves out in replay. The subscriptions went from just over 1 million in January to a projected 6 million and counting by the New Year.

I've had a blast listening to the show and taking part in this seemingly covert/and or ignored operation of mingling with his fanbase and those few who are considered to be trolls. I must say, that as far as message boards or newsgroups are concerned, the best of the bunch by far happen to converse within these lavender walls.

Here's hoping next year was as fun as this year...Happy Holidays...packie!!!

I just saw "Exchanging Gifts" on HTV and it was so much better than just listening to it. Seeing that little kid coming out of the package as Benji's "gift", along with the wood-chipper fiasco and the after-show footage of Richard practically in tears over Gary misplacing his gift followed by Gary kicking Sal out of his office makes this one my favorite episodes yet.

I protest this poll!

Where is Benjy's gift gift (black child) to Howard and Beth? "Exchanging gifts" won't cut it, Benjy MADE that segment.

Yeah, but what with the woodchipper crapping out, Howard screaming for heads to roll, the On Demand guys turning on Will, Jason and Gary AND Richard acting like a lil bitch, I thought the segment was worth more than just Benjy's love child.

When I heard the "Ralph stole the tip, and is a thief" conversations, it struck me as not being a goof, gag, or otherwise scripted bit. That made it more entertaining to me than some of the other stuff.

What makes it most interseting is the fact that it's getting downplayed into nothing....Typical of Howard trying to sweep something under the rug and let it be forgotten about. By the new year, things will be back to normal and it will never come up again. Frankly, I think it's on the level of Artie's herion addiction, something that can be mentioned at any appropraite moment!
