Like I said before, it's laziness on the part of Sabean or whoever decided to go this route. I put up a poll that featured 120 different segments from throughout the year. Each one of those segmented ENTIRE shows could have played during the vacation period. What the fans received instead were 12 shows repeated all day.

They may have had all year to come up with a plan, but this plan that was used is most certainly a newborn in the hospital ward.

So what, they have 12 shows all year that were the best??? Who programmed this crap Gary the retard?? I have been a long time Stern fan since he arrived in Pittsburgh in the early nineties and slowly I am getting sick of the selling out. MTT and The Friday Show both suck too. The four day a week thing still gets my ass, but three weeks off and a twelve show rotation just blows. If not for Bubba I probably would have "churned" out this week. Tim Sabian had all year to pick the shows for the year end and program their high tech studio to play a different show all day everyday Howard is off. Total laziness and for a pay service the show could not be worse..... And to boot channel 101 is repeating channel 100 until 3 pm, how about the best of Bubba or SOMETHING???

You wouldn't know it by my rant, but I HAVE been a FAN since 1994 and have listened to just about every show, even when Howard was kicked off CC in 2004 I found a way to listen, but this is CRAP!
As much as I didn't mind in the begining, I'm really hating this very lazt route they took and I think it would only appeal to new subscribers (and not much). Not giving the fans what they want at all! Break out the MTT, you bastards!

Hope everyone has a Happy Holiday! I've had the opportunity to get hold of some vintage X-mas material from the 1980s and 1990s. Here is a very small sample...

I was not very fond of the best of either. I would like to hear the first show they did at Sirius.

After they come back from a three week vacation on the 8th they'll probably spend the next day replaying the first broadcast to commemorate its one year anniversary.

They have a ton of stuff to mull over that Monday, but promotion of the anniversary show will be a big part of that day...it has to be.

I hope not. If they are going to run the "no more bullshit" bumper than they need to stop with the bullshit and get to the sitting around and bullshitting.

That would be cool if they did that. I'll keep my ears peeled for that. I'm curious how that first show sounded. Wonder how many listeners were tuned in that morning?

The only thing I complain about is when Sal & Richard gay it up. I don't complain about vacations. Never have but if they put on some anniversary shenanigans (which is speculation at this point), well that is just plain bullshit.
