I bet you're right. You know they were the ones that made him do the late night talk show tour and promote Sirius before the holidays, and now they want him to actually do some of the live programming he crowed so much about on those shows. New listeners are bound to be disappointed with reruns of radio shows, no matter how good they are.

We'll have to wait and see but I'm also pretty sure that the new listeners they assumed were coming didn't come in the numers they hoped for. As for new listeners being dissapointed...Do you think they really expected Howard to be back this week?

Not this week, but certainly next week. The world is "back to work" for the most part after Jan 1, and I know that people commuting to work next week would expect that Howard would be back on the air along with them.

Personally, I was "back to work" on Tuesday of this week. Shit, I forgot to be pissed at Howard for not following my personal schedule.

I guess I owe SBS one huge bitch session.
