Keep in mind that it was the very end of his set - the thing was scheduled to start at 10:00 pm. Plenty of time for him to get nice and liquored up leaving us with what we heard last night.

I would have liked to hear more of Artie before he got wasted. This little bit was pretty lame and probably not really worth the trouble it took to make it happen.

Exactly. He already did his set. I'm not sure what people where expecting. Seriously, they go live 15 minutes before the New Year and what you got was a drunken Artie.

He's not an O&A troll, he's a shit-stirrer. He comes on here and bashes Howard, then goes on xmfan and bashes O&A. Pretty sad way to spend your time IMO......

Anyway, F Jackie.

Happy New Year to all!
I heard the replay (the West Coast) and boy, that was a waste of time, wasn't it. But that wasn't his act or anything. I think I heard him threaten to bring Bob Levy up to eat salad dressing out of of a woman's ass or something. Bob Levy...that's my cue to leave!

Artie had no intention of giving his act away for free. All of the comics did full sets. Artie has been very clear about his dealings with Sirius and Howard on multiple occassions. I listened as well, and it was among the biggest bunch of garbage I have ever heard. Artie is getting too big for his britches and those are some big stretch pants.

Haha what the fuck is wrong with you people. He just did an hour of standup and was asked to do something for Sirius on New Year's Eve. Jesus Christ he's a fucking team player.

Yeah it was pretty bad but In all honesty I cared more about what was on the radio than what was on TV

IT was cool not the best radio but something very very cool for Artie to do.

I guess "you had to be there". Because what was aired on the revolution was Artie screaming out "Sirius satellite radio"..."Hey, Philladelphia"..."FIIIYAAHH" and "FUCK THE FCC" over and over while some musicians played AC/DC songs.

Last year at the same time Howard came on the H100 News and talked about the freedom to put on whatever he wanted and he seemed genuinely excited about what he called a 'radio revolution' that was about to take place. I wonder if he was excited enough to listen to Artie singing 25 year old AC/DC songs to bring in 2007?

By the way, anyone know if Howard and the gang are back to punching the clock tomorrow?

I tuned in as he was singing AC/DC and thought "I could get into a fun night of Artie singing and partying." Then he started singing Bruce Springsteen and I must've sobered up cuz it was horrid... The F the Eagles line was great and he snuck it in and drowned out the response just to rile things up...
