It's about time somebody started to complain about their time off. It's getting ridiculous!

You'd think but you don't know Howard and the crew. They'll never be another life Friday Show but MTT is so good, who cares! I just hope they don't have Tuesday off because Howard sure made it sound like they would be live but that promo suggests playing clips from last years shows all day long!

You took the words right out of my mouth.

I've recently found a way to make the show 10 times more enjoyable. I stopped reading all these WAAAAAHHHH! threads...

Robin almost had a heart attack when Howard said that Fifty Cent would be on tomorrow.

He has to know how fans feel about MTT - right? He can't think anyone really cares about 20 year old taped replays of shows littered with commercial breaks and out-of-date references to events that people barely remember anymore? I think it's okay to pull clips from those shows for once or twice a year "best-of" shows, but beyond that - please burn those tapes. Radio is a live medium, and we are paying for live content. Howard is the best, but it sure seems like he'd rather be anywhere else than on the radio these days.

You can't think that everyone thinks like you, can you? There ARE people who like MTT, personally, I preferred the Friday Show. Many people hated that, different people have different tastes. there are fans and haters of practically EVERYTHING on his 2 channels. Your assumptions are as silly as Vinny's claims of how many Stern fans are in his area. It's just conjecture based on YOUR feelings.

As for radio being a "live medium", how many of the 60+ music channels are live?

If you feel you're being ripped off, there's a simple course of action to stop it from happening. Trying to sour everyone esle's attitude to match yours won't change the show...

I really like MTT and so do most of my friends. We get to rehear stuff that we had forgotten about get to hear some of the best shows he ever did and I think its cool that he is replaying the old shows since I don't have them on tape.

Him being there live would be best, but MTT is a good choice for when he isn't there. My life doesn't revolve around the show. If they are off I can deal with it and MTT fills in nicely.

Did Howard really say "see you in two weeks", meaning they're off all of next week?

But yet you come in to read this one?

Dude, with all due respect, grow up, learn how to take disagreement. People commenting on how we feel about the "Friday issue", shouldn't impact your enjoyment of the show one bit. Just because we are commenting on how Friday's are handled, doesn't mean anyone is "whining", its just that we want more of the live show......is that really a bad thing?

I'm not calling anyone out here, but some of you seem to not be able to digest any criticsm of the Howard Stern Show. That is well withing your right, but please, lets not act like he or the show is perfect, or above some mild criticism.

His feelings on the issue are just as relevant as yours. Why put him down for simply wanting live Friday shows? You disagree, leave it at that.

Also, comparing the music channels to talk radio is sort of strange.

Are you working an extra day this week since you had New Years Day off?
