Default Who Remembers?

How did 1-9-06 start? The sound of George Takai's voice. I remember sitting here thinking, what is this? Is this a recording they made, or is he on the show? And what a great addition he has been. He never dissappointed in 2006.

To George Takai! Insert beer steins here.

I think, if I remember correctly, the show opened to the sounds of farts being played to the tune of A Space Odyssey: 2001. Those were the first minutes on satelite (besides the on air tests they ran for two days).

Certainly was better than the annoying heartbeat that was playing that weekend.

It was so exciting that first day it had been 3 weeks since the last live broadcast I wanted to call in how fans in places that never got the show could & you didn't have to worry if your local station was next to drop the show.

Tell me about it. here is chicago they started doing the show live, without a delay, so I lost an hour of listening time. Towards the end, with the early start and all the censorship, the show was almost unlistenable. F the FCC and WCKG.

That opening week was hardest on little Freddie. He had the hardest time with the new equipment.
