Default Howard's 83M Bonus

It was reported today that Howard received an 83 million dollar bonus for exceeding subscription numbers. Not bad for a part-time gig.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16539806/

For those of you that have Sirius stock, as of today, the value has decreased 45% from a year ago. All jokes and insults aside, how does that make you feel knowing that one lone person has reaped everything while the small-time investors and loyal supporters are out nearly half of their investment amount?

There is a forum for stock talk, it's called the Street, this thread belongs there.

It makes me feel great, considering if Sirius had not signed the exclusive talent and he had decided to go to the competition, the stock would be worth $0.00.

Who said anyone owed me money, or that I'm jealous? Reading comprehension - try it sometime.

I'm not a Sirius investor, but I believe some members that post here are. I'm not making up the loss numbers, look them up. If a company I purchased stock in takes a dive, so be it - that's the risk of investment. However, if a company is at an almost 50% stock loss level and one person gets a balloon payment such as this one, to be honest, I'd be upset.

Nerve? Don't flatter yourself, I just find you annoying and this topic is already being discussed in the proper forum. No nerve hit here.

Hmmm mine is still up 75% from what I paid. Speak for yourself chump. Just cause you didn't act fast enough doesn't mean anything. If I had wanted to I could have made almost $7/share all of 6months ago if I had decided to sell (actually I think we did sell some and reinvested).

So to answer your question, that's too bad man for waiting.

So if your employer hired you under a contract full of incentives to increase sales and subsequently sales increased 10 fold in one year, you wouldn't accept the free Quarter Pounders and McFlurries they promised you? (My apologies if I estimated your employer incorrectly. You can substitute Whoppers or Big Beef Burritos if you like).

So, you paid around $2.00 per share then? Yeah, OK.
