Post Arties Last Year

Who else thinks this is his last yr? After the news about the sit com deal that was in the background. His attitude has completely gone to, I don't really need this place anymore. Listen to whats not being said, then to whats being said by him..

My thoughts----- He's Outahere--- Welcome Back Jackie?

If Artie leaves, I think Fitzsimmons gets the chair... but I don't think Artie will leave... he knows who butters his bread.

Although Artie knows a lot about butter, he is really delusional when it comes to his position in show business. He's falling right into the Martling complex.

If the fat bastard leaves, I don't think that I'll be sticking around, Artie makes the show for me.

I don't know if this will be his last year, but I am confident that he won't be around to see the end of the five year Sirius contract. I wouldn't mind having Jackie back on the show. I think his contributions could be different than they were before. I bet we would hear a lot more from him on a day to day basis. I also wouldn't mind seeing Fitzsimmons take the chair. He is a funny dude who could offer so much to the show. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

What amazes me is that Artie really doesn't get that he's not a good actor. He doesn't realize that NOBODY was calling him until he came to the Stern show.

With the topic of this thread being "Artie's last year" I thought this was a death pool. This unfortunately, may be more realistic than Artie leaving the show for other opportunities.

He was on MAd TV, the Norm Show, some failed animated show and Dirty Work. Not the best of shows or movies but you're making it out like the Stern show was his first job.

You're the one that said NOBODY was calling him before he came to the Stern show, not me. But I do agree, it doesn't look like he'll be there for the 5 years.

Technically, ARtie was an addition to the show, while Benjy took over the head-writer job. So, Howard would hire another comedian, who wouldn't be in charge of writing, just continuing to add content as a comedian.

And the show would go on fine without ARtie. There are plenty of great comedians who could come in.

What kind of 'tones' do old Stern fans have?

And I don't think tons would come back.
