If and when, my Sirius and about a million others go out the window. Better off playing repeats in the morning on at least one channel.

Excatly. Bubba fan or not, it's as simple as that!

WWWAAAAAAAAA I dont like Bubba WWWWAAAAAAA. If you dont like it dont listen, simple as that. Some of us find him to be funny and DIFFERENT then Howard. Move on, its not the end of the world. And if Bubba doesnt get himself fired when Howard retires he probably will replace Him. Why else would Howard have sought him out and hired him from the gutter?

In my view, Bubba is a fucking hack. In your view, he is a genius. Let's agree to disagree, shall we?
Okay, I disagree with you also. Sirius is pretty lucky they have Bubba at the moment - he's a true worker, kind of like the old Howard used to be. Bubba's getting married Saturday, and he's still doing shows this week - even Friday the day before! If this was Howard's wedding, how many weeks would he take off? Howard's even taking Monday off again according to Bubba, which means another 3 day week next week.

I wish Sirius would see the light - give Bubba the mornings, move Howard to the afternoons. This way, they would have live shows 5 mornings a week, and keep subscribers happy.

I wouldn't mind bubba in the morning and howard in the afternoon. that would be cool, cuz I am always listening in the morning and I dont listen every afternoon. esp given the fact that bubba is pretty much on 5 days a week every week no matter what.

This weeks Bubba shows have been outstanding... and today, with Artie, Sal and Richard in studio, it should be yet another day of radio gold.

This shows, more than anything else in recent months, that Bubba is becoming the true star at Sirius. Don't think he isn't doing this on purpose either - he'll never admit it publically of course, but this is his chance to make a name for himself on the channel while Howard slacks off yet again. Howard should be embarrassed his career is winding down this way. But, at least guys like Bubba will keep Sirius going. All Sirius needs to do now is find some more guys like him (Bonaduce would have been great), and start setting up the 100-101 channels with some different entertainment options.

It really just seems like howard just pressures bubba into doing stuff he doesn't want to cuz he knows how bubba feels so obligated to howard to do anything he ask. I just look at it like this, if the roles were reversed, howard would not allow any of that nonsense.
I disagree, I don't think this has anything to do with Howard liking or disliking Bubba. This is what Howard does to everyone on his show. Whether it be Bubba, Baba-Booey, Artie, a famous celebrity or anyone else. Once they come on the air, Howard finds an interesting topic and just grills away for answers. That's what makes Howard such a great interviewer. He keeps shaking the tree and gets people to disclose things they didn't want to. If anything, Howard's actions shows that he accepts Bubba as part of the team.

Agreed. Who else could get Martha Stewart to talk about her prison stories, if she wears underwear, when she had sex after prison, etc...

Happy ? I'd be pissed if they moved Stern for Bubba, and I'm sure that most of the Stern listeners would as well.

Dangit, you stole the point I was going to make. Also Bubba does the same thing to his guys. Brent will tell him to Fuck off and will clam up. Ned will tell him to fuck off and then start discussing the point he didn't want to talk about...

BTW, thanks for bringing the thread back on topic. I don't know how EVERY thread seems to turn into "What a lazy slacker Howard is"... Oh yeah, now I remember. a couple people post NOTHING but the same Shiite every time they post...

Fuck this place, its bullshit, I'm outta here!
