You're right, I could cancel my sub(the stock reply you hear so much in one form or another: 'Love it or leave it')...OR you could ignore the thread in the public forum where these type of ideas, suggestions and complaints take place. Contrary opinion towards the show seems to make you very ornery.

Did some quick research on www.marksfriggin.com...

The last week that Howard worked a 5 day week (on the air) was the week of June 26th.

I can take contrary opinion. It's after the hundredth thread asking if there's going to be a Friday Show/MTT/Sir Hardnthick/vacation/day off/bathroom break/whatever followed by pages and pages of negativity, that I start to get ornery. It's just the same whining "Waaaa, when's Howard gonna give me what I want!!!" childishness over and over. I've said before that I don't have any delusions of Howard actually listening to what I want; I pretty much take it or leave it (and yet I'm a Kool-Aid drinker??). Some people here think the more (and more and more and more) they bitch, the more important their opinion is and the more Howard may listen to them. Frankly, that's something I expect on Wackbag. I just don't have the time to obsess on something so negative. YMMV.

Fold her seam side in when you are done and store her in a cool, dry place. You don't want her stretching out of shape.

Oh, and for God's sake, clean her out first.

He went crazy with the Fridays, yes, which I don't mind so much, actually, because I really like MTT....but replaying an MTT should be criminal, honestly! and at the rate they are pulling out MTT's, playing all of 1995 at this rate, we'll never hear those shows where he talks about his Sirius deal. Hell, even though that bullshit with CBS is over, they still might be kind of incriminating, even though he did nothing wrong!

As for the debate between Packie and Jgatie, I don't know about anybody else, but I think Mutt, Joey Boots, Double A, BoBo and most of the delusioned souls on that one site (honestly, I forgot the name of the site...which is probably a good thing), but I think this type of bitching is somehting I don't think it's far fetched that Howard would and should listen to...Think about it. It was fan's requests that made Howard 100 all day Stern show (and reducded the news to bite sized bulletetins). It's not crazy that he might finally give us....oh, I don't know, fresh MTT's when he is off. We aren't asking for our own shows on Sirius, you know!

I really don't care about his time off, as long as the bases are covered with the broadcasts. I think to replay a MTT is at best, a mistake or oversight, which if you were to analyze a little deeper, is really just laziness in disguise.
The first year of broadcasts at Sirius were certainly a learning experience, and let's face it, the reason H100 replays his show all day is because of the SFN and emails into the show and other message boards like this one. If it were up to Howard and Tim Sabean the channel would have a much different sound of shows. The real reason may actually be between the fans speaking out and the quick and easy fix of having a six hour block ready to go and fill up time. So, the forum is the only place, unless you count the bottomless pit to the Sternshow email, to air a grievance or highlight a new way to program the stations.

Doesn't it seem silly to advertise having 23,000 hours of tapes(tapes that were fought over in a court of law, mind you)and to have only run somewhere in the neighborhood of FIFTY HOURS? Howard and Sabean knew they weren't coming in on Monday, why not have a fresh batch of MTT?

I could give two shits about his vacation...my complaint has always been about the progamming we've been given while he's away. I'd rather not tune in to hear a MTT that played three weeks ago when there is over TWENTY YEARS OF MATERIAL that could be played.

When Best Of would run on KROCK, I would turn off the station and listen to Sports talk and News talk or whatever. Now that I'm paying, the forum is at least some small dartboard I can use. What the hell do I have to lose? If some guy wants to bitch back at me instead of taking on the topic at hand, then so be it. I guess I just want to feel that there are others out there who share the same view, or if they don't, then at least be able to change my opinion by making me understand the opposing view a little clearer.

I don't really have a view on Bubba. For the most part I ignore those postings, or at least I don't post in them.

People bitch about vacation a lot because Howard takes a lot of vacation. I'm just saying, while you're on vacation...leave some frozen dinners in the fridge.

You know...frozen dinners...an aisle over from the tampons.

Great post but I love this line the best! I'm honestly not sure if it was a mistake. I think Howard is getting lazy and the whole "Best of the year" thing was proof to me. I think the crew is getting lazy too...it's funny how Howard bragged about the go getters going through the tapes. With the edits of Allison (I've only heard Allison once on an MTT and THAT was probably a mistake, sadly), these douches are either following Howard's instructions are are so far up his ass anyway, they think he'll want her edited out. Plus, the selections, while all great (has Howard ever done a whole show that was a dog?....Other than some remotes from other locations, probably not) are waay too focused on seeemingly two eras....the late eighties and mid-ninties! Lazziness is catchy and that's no good!

Can't we all get along? I agree that was a great post from packie...any way, maybe Howard will surprise us and do a live show Friday to make up for all the repeats.....

I don't mind the 4 sometimes 3 day weeks, I don't mind the MTT (I've only been listening to the show for about 11 months) I don't mind the sometimes lack of HowardTV updates, I don't mind the show ending early due to a gas leak, but a repeat of a repeat is enough to make me change the station. Luckily, I don't pay 3 monthly subscriptions for Howard, I pay for Sirius. Howard is just two of the many channels. If he takes some time off, good for him. I wish I could do the same.I enjoy it when its on and fresh, when it's not theres plenty of other stuff to listen to.

Bubba has to be loving Howard these days- Howard's vacations are the number one reason for all the new Bubba marks.
