I love Robin and do know that she is wrong pretty often (as are other members of the show, mostly Howard) but the site is either full of shit or wrong, too!

"Howard mentioned that a particular song, the name of which he couldn't remember had a sampling of B.B. King that brought him to tears every time he heard it. He couldn't remember the artist, either.

Robin Quivers chimed in that the artist was the Pet Shop Boys. Howard disagreed, indicating that he wouldn't like any group with the word "Boys" in their name. Fred revealed that the group's name is Primitive Radio Gods to which Robin chimed in "That's Right."

If you really knew, Robin, why did you guess Pet Shop Boys? Obviously, you didn't make the New Year's Resolution we all hoped you'd make: to just shut up. (1.2.07)"

I remember this very well because I'm a huge PSB fan. She never siad it was PSB. She said it was something like PSB, which to only someone who has heard there hits and some other tracks here and there, maybe you could say that's right. Even when Howard said that line, she said, "No, not Pet Shop Boys but similar sounding".

So these guys aren't even listening to the show very closely. They just have an axe to grind with Robin!

They are all over the place. Some of the things are mistakes, some are just an opinion based on their dislike.

I was going to mention the La/Canada thing with the Battlestar chick, I had to rewind it to see where she asked because it sounded funny when she acted like she was confirming her assumptions...

I noticed that, too. But again, that was one thing I noticed and it wasn't a mistake, so who knows how accurate the site is! If the people actually listened to the show closely and could come up with some good material, it would be worth checking out.

Cool site.

I'll have to add this to my list of daily stops on the intraweb.

Cool Robin is not without fault

Interrupting, finishing sentences, cutting people off, etc. She can't wait to blurt out her opinion or story as if it is more important than anyone's. She thinks she's the co-star of the show. Maybe she is, but I would like to see her take the role of supporting player, like the others.

When I listen to the old tapes, she seems less irritating. Still, I think she adds to the show.

It's pretty funny, but it makes me wonder - who has the time for that?

Props for that. Also, it might have been the very day of the announcement of the seperation where Howard said he would never marry again, Robin begged to differ. You got to love Robin! A show without Robin is no show I want to listen to. When Robin leaves, no bitching from me because I'm out the door.

Agreed. The show has a different energy when Robin is not there, and it's a weaker energy.

What else would you expect from a "34"?

I thought it was funny today during the Joe Frazier interview when Howard had to step in and say to Robin "Let Joe answer the question!" as Robin was answering every question for Joe.

Sometimes Howard will say "I'm talking" or some other reproachful remark. It doesn't seem to slow her down much.

Hardly a day goes by that she doesn't get way too full of herself. This morning they were discussing a countdown of the all-time great guitar solos. She got it in her head the Santana's Black Magic Woman contained a legendary guitar solo. No one acknowledged her, so she kept pushing it, waiting for someone to say "Brilliant Robin! Of course Black Magic Woman should be in the top ten!" They just kept ignoring her.

I saw Santana on the list at #49 for a song called Europa. http://guitar.about.com/library/bl100greatestd.htm
