God damn they better map this right because as a Stiletto 100 user, I've been waiting VERY VERY VERY VERY long for that to happen. You Stiletto 2 users haven't had to wait no where near as long.

They BETTER do this right.

I just thought it was funny how all the numbers matched up. They could have gone on forever...

So, as of right now, I'm missing channels 185, 186, 187, 188, 192, and 193. This change is moving all of those channels to the range of channels 88-98 and channel 138. I am hoping that means I will be able to tune to those channels after next Tuesday.
I was thinking the same thing. We have a Brix Streamer and I'm looking forward to finally receiving these channels.

I just want to say that I just got the channel updates on my Stiletto 2 and I am SO happy I have the correct icons to the correct channels. The only thing that I noticed was the categories did not seem to be updated correctly. For example, Indie Talk was still under the "Entertainment" category instead of "News/Talk". Before I left my car I shut down my Stiletto 2 completely. Maybe a reboot will update the categories as well as the icons. Once my Stiletto 2 is started up again I'll report back if the categories were fixed.

By the way, I'm a Stern fan too and I wasn't disappointed that I missed two minutes of his show, so all you Stern fans please don't complain because I would like to receive updates more frequently. Just throwing that out there because I think this is the reason why updates have not taken place for so long.

Yes, it may just take some time. I know on my Sportster 4, the update took, and I thought it messed up the presets, and started to take the time to manually change them but then 10 minutes later I got a subscription update notice and cleared it up.

Nope. I didn't get them either. I still have the same Canadian channels that I don't want and still don't have the one channel that I want: Hardcore Sports.

Default shuffleless

No more shuffle?? That was our default station for long drives. How do they decide to switch these channels effectively off? Are they trying to drive me to listen on the net more? I can't do that from I-5... That was so much fun - music I never would have heard otherwise.

The music is still there. All those songs came from other channels... Take a chance, tune around...

Default anybody else...?

Anyone else think the bitrate changed for a lot of the lower-numbered music channels? I used to notice a distinct difference between the quality of Area 33 and The Beat (36), and now, I notice no such difference between 36 and "Area 38." The rock stations, like Octane and Hard Attack, seem more "tinny" than before, as well.

Is this all in my head, or did Sirius lower the bitrate for these channels? Does anyone else feel like they did something like this?

No mention the "sports block" that WAS listed among the changes on http://www.sirius.com/channelchange ...

The channels are blank, but say nothing of being "sports" channels...not on my SL100, at least.

Did anyone else receive another channel update this morning 6/25/08?

I received the one on 6/24/08 first thing in the morning and then I turn my radio on this morning 6/25/08 and I received another one. Weird.

Also does the Grateful Dead logo on the Stilleto just say "Grateful Dead Channel" on everyone elses unit? Kinda "weak" if you ask me. You mean they couldn't get a little skeleton or bear logo up there?

They finally updated "Lithium" with an actual logo now. Only took them about a year.

I still don't understant why they can't seem to update these things on a more frequent basis. Sirius treated the S50 like a red headed stepchild and then they give the same "neglect" to the SL100. I had to get logo and channel updates via this message board for my S50. All we want are some damn "logos". Is it really that hard?

The only difference is that at least the SL100 isn't a total "turd" of a radio unlike the S50.

+1 on the loss of Super Shuffle It was the perfect station for anyone with an eclectic taste in music who drives frequently. If I wanted to flip channels all the time to listen to different music styles, I'd listen to terrestrial Radio.

Dumb move, Sirius.. very dumb.
