Default WOOHOO!!!

just ordered the F+F kit.. im stoked! been wanting to go with sirius for awhile now (i have XM and well.. its ok, not all that happy with the repeats as well as sometimes the audio quality is a bit metallic)

I may have accedentaly submitted it twice, i do not want to have 2 of them (or a bill on the cc for not activating it) so is there anyway i can make sure that this doesnt happen?

also just to be sure, does the audiovox kit also have aux out or is it strictly FM modulation only?

thanks for the outstanding offer guys!

Grem

Grem,
Email John (jharmon@marketstar.com) and let him know you want just one kit. He'll straighten it out.

The Audiovox does have RCA outputs, so you will be good to go.

Welcome to the Sirius team!

That's great to hear. Now I have two reasons to get the CD changer to RCA adaptor for my VW! Any one know of any problems running a splitter with one of those? I'll be splitting the R/L channels in two and running my MP3 player and the Sirius. Basically a "Y" connector connected to the right and left inputs.

Hi,
I'm an employee of Panasonic, one that procrastinated about taking you up on the offer of a free system in return for a one year subscription. This morning I see that Sirius is offering a lifetime subscription for $400.

When will the lifetime subscription begin?

Can I take advantage of the free Audiovox system offer you are now offering and have the cost of the one year subscription be applied to the $400 one time charge when that program begins? I need written reassurance on that question!

After placing the on line order, how long will it take for the Audiovox system to be shipped?

Do you have a web site that shows the antenna that is included with the Audiovox system? I'm installing in a Toyota 4 Runner and I need to see how the antenna cable would be routed inside the vehicle.
Thanks

Not sure, I assume that it is available starting today. You might want to call Customer Care at 1-888-539-7474 to ask.

Yep, just email John and tell him you will be choosing the lifetime option.

Two weeks at most.

It will either be a Terk or a high gloss teardrop Macom antenna.

I've also got a 4Runner, the easier way to route the cable is through the rear brake light cavity.

If your Panasonic headunit has AUX inputs you could use the RCA outs on the Audiovox tuner. This leaves you still having to control the tuner via the external Audiovox controller though.

If you want to control the tuner via your Panasonic headunit, then you would need a Panasonic tuner to match. You may be better off picking one up at a local retailer and taking advantage of the $100 mail-in rebate.

Jeff
so there is no way i can get the panasonic tuner through this offer?, if i would get the tuner somewhere else, how do I get the 100 dollar rebate?

Will the antenna you get with the Audiovox work with the Kenwood tuner ok? Has both the sat and rf outputs?

Default hey wait a sec...

You mentioned 'high gloss teardrop Macom antenna'

I never heard of this antenna! Is this some newer smaller antenna available? I'd love to replace my antenna with a smaller one. Is there a photo of this antenna type available?

It's not smaller, probably a little larger than a Terk.

I found this using Google. I have no clue if this is the same model or not. And who knows what color it'll be. My guess is it won't be bright white!
