You can certainly hook up one of the tuners for in use in your home, but these radios aren't really made for portability.

If you want something that you can move between your car and the house, you might want to wait for the Kenwood plug-n-play.

Yes, I was wondering that too! I am interested in the deal but where does the equipment go? How does the antenne get wired up. I have a Toyota Tacoma extended cap truck if that helps. I will get this deal if there is minimal set up work like drilling and running wire...

It's really flexible. You can screw into the floor under the seats, in the trunk or cargo area. It fine to use velcro straps or other means to secure it as well.

The best place to mount it in a Toyota truck in under the passenger or driver seat. Then you would need to run a cable under the flooring to the radio in the dash. Finally the antenna sticks to the rear of the roof. If you have a Tacoma, it should have a rear brake light, the cable can easily be ran through this space. If you don't have the time to install it yourself, Circuit City or another local audio shop will do it for $60-$80.

I will be installing it in a 2003 Chevy s-10, and of course they dont have any adapters for aux in on my radio :\ !! If anyone knows of another option for hooking up to the stock radio on this truck please let me know, thanks!

I'm pretty sure it's four weeks from when you receive it. When you order they will confirm this.

Correction to the question about the activation deadline. They are actually activated by Sirius when they ship. The hit is scheduled to occur the day you receive the radio. If you don't install it that day you can simply call Customer Care and request another hit.

Jeff, I realize this deal is limited. How limited? I mean one poster stated he had ordered the Audivox and there was one left. I am not sure if he was talking about something else, since this deal don't technically start till tomorrow. I was just curious if they gave you any idea as to the quanities available? The point being, I mean if we all go out pushing this and then those folks can't get it, there is going to be some bitter disappointment and that is not good.

I have a sirius-ready kenwood tuner, model Z828. I don't want to add another controller to my dash. Can I use any of the available kits and use my Z828 to control satellite radio?

Thanks.

That poster is incorrect. While they are out of Panasonic kits (more may or may not be available), there is a virtual endless supply of Audiovox.
