Yeah really. I just got my mail saying my order has been processed. I wonder if he'll send an email to say it ships or what.

Do they pay for shipping? If not, what's the price?

Default kenwood deck

Ordered my kit, now for a few questions.

I have a kenwood KDC-MVP622 headunit, I know I will not be able to hook this up directly to the headunit being its an audiovox receiver/antenna.

however, my question is, does my headunit have RCA ins (if so, problem solved) if not, does anyone know if kenwood sells an adapter (like some have) to make the CD changer input into RCAs? or am i going to have to FM modulate this (certainly hope Im not going have to)

Thanks guys in advance, i hope you resident experts can shed some light on this

Your particular model does not have an Aux Input built in. This was the reason I personally went with the Kenwood KDC-MPV6022, instead of the 622. However, the good news is that YES, they do make an apdaptor for your model. Kenwood CA-C1AUX, it sells for around $19.99 and this will then give you the aux in that you need to be able to do the direct connection with the Audiovox that you've ordered. The adpaptor plugs in the CD Changer Plugin that is on the back of your unit. Hopefully you aren't using the CD Changer Plugin, if so there is another adaptor that will allow you to use both CD Changer and have an Aux In, but its much more expensive.

Default Great Offer--Technical Query

Hi, a friend of mine directed me here because I have a horrible commute and knew Sirius had a channel that had old radio programming.

This sounds like a good deal...but once I get the kit, how does one install it? I presently have a Kenwood am/fm cassette unit with the removable faceplate which I got soon after I bought the car (which means it's circa 1998). Does it plug in somewhere? Do I have to go to somewhere like Circuit City to get it installed, like the cassette unit itself?

Please help a tech neo. Thanks!

[Later--you guys are gonna think I'm a blonde! The Kenwood was in my OLD car. This is a Pioneer, Model KEH-1700. What would I have to do to install/get the unit installed.]

Is there something like that for the standard radio in a Grand Prix in the $20 range?

Unforunately it's not quite as simple for factory radios. You will need a Blitzsafe or PIE adapter at $70-$90.

Depends what year the grand prix is also - if it doesnt have a changer hook up - there is no aux input add on and you have to use the FM Mod. If you send me an email - i know a TON about the Grand prix's and can help you -

Hey mch. Did you place your order via the web form? If so, when did you place the order? I placed my order on Thursday, but still have not heard anything.

I work for a large retailorand there is alot of people who would want to take advantage of this deal. Would to be wrong to let them know via company e-mail how to get this? Can sirius handle extremely large orders? I dont want to ruin a good deal. How long is this package available?

They will ship mid-next week via FedEx. You will likely have it by the end of next week.
